Nice hotel, very comfortable & everything that you may need available. Very helpful & friendly staff. Excellent English breakfast. Didn't look at or use the health suite & pool (forgot to bring our swimwear etc plus didn't have much time spare) but obviously this is an excellent bonus & I'm sure it was very nice.

Lovely hotel and lake beautiful an asset to the hotel . Rooms are comfortable but would benefit from upgrading. Need to invest in changing cubicles for health and wellness centre, lockers that can house clothes and a bit of tlc to the pool and poolside.

Worst room maintenance. Bathroom showerhead is covered with limescale and consequently couldn't bathe. Lack of privacy. Cleaners invade in to the room while guests are inside. Very awkward services.

The lakeside views and the staff were lovely, the breakfast was nice, and the room was clean. It doesn't look like the rooms had been redecorated in decades, though, and the corridors were dimly lit with flickering lights There was also a good bit of wear and tear evident on the walls and the carpets. The food available through the restaurant/room service was very bland and disappointing, which normally wouldn't be such a big deal as I'd just order takeaway, but the hotel also prohibits bringing food onto the premises so this wasn't an option. I would recommend it to someone looking for a cheap-ish place to stay that's warm and clean, as long as you don't plan on having to eat anything other than breakfast at the hotel.
