By far one of my favourite art museums. It brings me a lot of memories from my childhood growing up in Newcastle. The paintings by John Martin are spectacular and a real gem within the gallery. Laing gallery is the core to experiencing the rich art culture of Northumberland.

Went to see the Chris Killip exhibition. It's small but great. Wish there had been more background information about him and why he was considered so special.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a well managed one way system and we didn't need to book in advance. We had a lovely hot chocolate in the cafe and enjoyed looking at all the art.

Beautifully displayed art in this historic gallery. The De Morgan exhibition was stunning with really interesting notes

Good range of art, including John Martin and pre-Raphaelites. Interesting exhibitions- I viewed the De Morgan exhibition of ceramics and paintings.

Enjoyed exhibition of local artists and nice collection of local Maling pottery.Staff were very friendly  and helpful.

Popped in for 30 minutes, great exhibits of local artists in free galleries. My favourite painting in the whole building is "The Stone Pickers"

The Gallery as always a delight. Excellent small exhibition De Morgans. Covid arrangements fine. Staff as always courteous and helpful.
