Absolutely amazing place. Really authentic food, with some beautiful specials, all with decent value for money.  Service is almost a little too fast, a testiment to the freshness of the menu.

It's serving homemade Italian foods and desserts. It's a lovely atmosphere and outstanding food. The staff are warm, friendly and provide exceptional service. The team communicate with us through gestures and make sure that we understand each other as we are deaf. Very comfortable and warm its feel like we are in Italy!  The food was delicious, and we'll definitely be visiting again in the future.  If you're a fan of Italian food, you'll not be disappointed. Believe me, their foods - WOW!

A family run restaurant that offers amazing food at a very good price. You would be mad not to give it a try......

came here on my own while waiting for a train, staff were incredible making sure I always had a drink or a fork in my hand! Great chat from everyone - going to a restaurant alone can be quite daunting but they made me feel very welcome! Food was beautiful, and Marcello at the bar made a wonderful espresso martini  Will for sure be back if I'm in Newcastle again

You can’t go wrong eating at an Italian restaurant. I’m a pescatarian and always try the fish dishes when I eat out. The waiters at Pani’s Cafe were extremely accommodating as we were a large group. My prawn starter was adapted due to my allergies and so was my main course of sea bass. I can’t fault the food or the service. Absolutely lovely waiting staff and chefs. Definitely visit here again when I come back to Newcastle

I am from San Francisco one of the food capitals of the world. This was one of the best Italian restaurants in the UK. It is the best restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne. Friendly and beautiful. Perfection. LGBTQ+ friendly. Go and enjoy the best in this city.

Managed to get a table here and very pleased that we eventually came.  Staff were so helpful with the pram and baby changing facilities are on site.  Lovely food, including the garlic bread with cheese and the pasta.  Initially brought wrong wine over but changed with no hassle. Lovely time, good food, helpful staff, what more could you want!

We popped in before we went to the theatre Royal, first time but it won't be the last time, OMG, this is a fantastic place if you fancy a Italian, please, please, please, try this place you won't be disappointed, spent £45.50 on 2 courses + drinks

My favorite restaurant in Newcastle! Beautiful setting, fantastic staff, delicious food!  I love that it is authentic Italian… not “British-ized”. Best tiramisu I have ever had  Highly recommend any glass of wine on the Specials menu! The chef never disappoints ‼

Just fantastic! The food is simply amazing and the staff are so warm and friendly, would definitely recommend! The "Cannolo Siciliano" is one of the nicest puddings I've ever had, worth the trip for this alone!
