Lovely French restaurant where we happened to have an early pre-theatre dinner. Not all the food was great but it was decent. Really enjoyed the mussels, the cured meats selection and duck croquettes. The goat cheese salad was not good - not much cheese in it, rather it was dominated by oily burnt toast/croutons. We appreciated the extensive wine list and must say the sparkling wine we had was great. Service was friendly but slow. Had to wait for food for 40 mins even though we just ordered a selection of starters to share and as a result ate in a rush to make to the ballet show on time.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! We started with the beef tartare, which was beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned. The main course, steak frites, was cooked to perfection, with a delicious Béarnaise sauce and crispy fries. We finished with delightful canelés and an espresso, the perfect ending to a superb meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I’ve already booked my next visit. Highly recommended!
As a single diner with no reservation I didn’t hold out much hope last Wednesday evening but hurray this absolute gem of a restaurant found a table for me outside. Started chatting to two women at next table who invited me to sit with them inside as they were waiting for a table - that sort of place - very warm and friendly ambience. Oh and the food and wine was delightful. Had confit of guinea fowl - perfectly done. Vin Jaune as an apéritif delicious and them a glass of red burgundy. Service so friendly and made me feel very welcome.
By far the best meal I've had in many years. The lamb was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the mousse was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and fast. Amazing!!Food: 5/5
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. The food was unbeatable, the atmosphere was cozy and warm and felt genuinely like the French countryside. Laura, our waitress, gave us the best service we could ask for and was so kind and proactive. This place is an absolute must try!!Food: 5/5
The cherry flan was genuinely one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in London. Delicious food, excellent service and great location.Food: 5/5
Was overwhelmed by the sharp ammonia smell entering the restaurant, I asked the waitress and she said it was cheese, I was relieved to hear that and could relax. Food was disappointingly bland and average, lacking a depth of flavour. Nice atmosphere. Clean toilet there’s only one and it’s tiny to move to it. Raclette was very popular in the restaurant.
Great food and wine I've had the Raclette and also A La Carte on visits and atmosphere, and also really friendly and helpful staff - a great place for a meal!Food: 5/5
This place has a great atmosphere, tasty wine, but the food didn't meet my expectations.Food: 4/5
We visited last night for the all-you-can-eat raclette and it was, quite simply, outstanding. Staff are friendly, informative and very helpful - and the restaurant itself has a lovely, cosy vibe. The food was out of this world - delicious cured meats and a great selection of cheeses, alongside a great wine list. The experience felt so authentically french it was easy to imagine you were sitting in a small bistro in the French Alps. We’re already planning our next visit.
