Stumbled across this place when walking back to our hotel. Thought it looked great and stopped by for a pizza and a beer. The pizza was hands down the best I've ever had outside of Italy - it was so good that we ordered a second one to take back to the hotel with us. Added bonus that the weather was so great and we could sit outside for the first time this year. The windows were open which made it feel like it we were still connected to the rest of the deli. The deli had such a great atmosphere and a may Italian's coming in, which shows how great it really is. Will visit on my next trip to London 100%
Stumbled in to this deli whilst shopping for wedding bands in Hatton garden. We had pizzas and a couple of beers and it was fantastic! Having travelled for work to Italy several times per year in the past three decades we have a fair idea of how things should taste, at least so we think. Well worth a visit, they also have top Italian wines like Tignanello and Sassicaia and a lovely deli counter as well as pastries. Grazie!!
I've been coming here for years, and the quality has always been impeccable. Today, not only was the food top notch, but the service too! We'd accidentally left a piece of art at the restaurant, and one of the waiters with the incredible hair! ran after us a long way to deliver our belonging back to us. Can 100% recommend Terroni & Sons!!
Definitely worth saving this place in bookmarks. Food: delicious. Fantastic tomato sauce and the dough of the pizza. Place: The restaurant with the character. Welcoming hosts and good service. The small authentic Italian shop and polite chitchats between employees and locals makes an impression that this place is beloved by Londoners.
Oh my goodness! We were staying in an Airbnb nearby and stumbled upon this AMAZING place! Small, cozy, and felt like we were with friends and family! We walked in right when the kitchen was about to close with a party of four. We saw there was a tiny little table with 3 chairs and another one tucked away with 2 chairs. We could not fit in the spaces, but they quickly did some rearranging with the help of a customer and got us seated at a table for four. They were so on top of everything, and got our order in so that we didn’t miss the kitchen closing. We all had something different and it was all top notch! We went in the following day and purchased sliced salami from their deli and what a snack! If you’re ever wanting some of the best Italian food, make a reservation and say hi to the staff! You’ll need a reservation as they do fill up quickly and everyone wants to stay because the atmosphere is so authentic!
While out for a cycle around London we stopped at this Italian deli and cafe on Clerkenwell for a coffee. It has seating outside as well as a few seats inside with a large open window. I had a cappuccino and aragosta/sfogliatella both of which were great. Apparently this is the oldest Italian deli in London originally opened in 1878
What a wonderful cafe, the food is spot on reminds me of Italian home cooking, the food here is amazing just spot on, you want to try everything and it is heavy on the carbs but afterwards you can go for a very long walk. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was delicious, the calzone pizza was very big but the ingredients was again wonderful, we also had a lasagna which was very tasty. The deserts the tiramisu was rich and not too sweet. The ice cream was delicious full on flavours and fresh tasting. The lunch time was busy and we came a bit late and managed to squeeze together. They were busy but they did look after us. Very good prices and they have so many other food stuffs to buy for home, pasta, juices, biscuits. I will go back here anytime. The hazelnut and vanilla ice cream was to die for. The tiramisu was light and easy on the stomach. They were as always very nice and friendly. I always enjoy coming here and food is fast for customers. I highly recommend here. Went today and I got a calzone pizza and they were okay to swap out the chillis with eggplant, it was huge and delicious. My gf pizza was huge and stunning. We shared a pasta which was fresh and the Ragu with meat sauce is delicious. You know it's good when it's packed with Italians bringing their friends here. The gelato was so good, vanilla and hazelnut is my choice. I am never disappointed it's so good here.
I've been coming to this deli for years because the food is consistently great. However, I'm giving 3 stars because recently the dishes have been quite salty. It's important to reduce the salt content in the food we consume for health reasons. Please consider using less salt in the pasta; customers can always add more to their plates if they prefer.
The deli food here is absolutely amazing. The service is great - all the ladies are so friendly and helpful. I also had an iced coffee here and it was delicious. Don’t miss this place when you visit London
Great family run Italian restaurant .Fair prices ,friendly staff and service .Recommend the anti pasti starter and the truffle ravioli .Bought some of the varied take away goodies -burrata ,pumpkin ravioli ,biscuits and yummy Italian cheese plus some sweet biscuits .Food: 5/5
