Had an amazing lunch here. It has a traditional French vibe and coupled with the amazing food, it feels very authentic. I recommend the squid risotto with black ink as a starter. It's so nice, almost melting in your mouth, and with a very subtle garlic flavor that's oh-so-French! The duck main is equally delicious, cooked medium with a nice harmony of flavor and texture. The service is also very good. Staff have been very attentive and they genuinely try to make the dining experience superb. Fantastic all around.
Had the loveliest dinner here. The food was so fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had some great live music. The restaurent is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Would definitely recommend.
I so wish there was a six star opportunity when something is so outstanding like this restaurant. Everything was amazing and to taste. Although hidden away it is well worth the search. They have 2 or 3 course meal deals or item by item. The wine and champagne that I both had were outstanding selection by the staff. Very romantic and intermittent. One of the place places I have EVER eaten. And they had live music on a Thursday night.
Cozy atmosphere and authentic French cuisine. The lamb rack for two is so tender that it melts with very little chewing needed. Not too salty or oily. I will come back again.
Took my French friend to this beautiful restaurant tucked in a lovely mews in Charterhouse Square and we both loved it. What’s not to love. Beautiful romantic ambience, dim lights and candle lit tables in traditional French decor style, live Piano music / and jazz. Staff very friendly, professional and attentive. Food was glorious. Beautifully cooked, fresh, tasty and served neatly. Everything was perfect and I am certainly going back again!
went for a dinner date, after reading the amazing reviews. I agree on ambience and service being spot on for a dinner date. but the food was very average good risotto, very good apple tarte, but mediocre carpaccio, monkfish, and very disappointing pheasantFood: 2/5
Great food and ambiance. We had the beef to share and it was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, with live piano music. Feel like the price is fair, will definitely come back.
Viva la France du London! Long overdue visit to this renowned classic French restaurant! Surpassed expectations indeed. Charming setting with more charming staff and such handsome men from Sardinia with the most traditional French cuisine. Live jazz music melts my heart. Can't go wrong with any dish. Relaxing evening....already booked next visit!
Really delicious food and the vibe is great with the live piano performance. Suitable for dates!
Love this place, great location and atmosphere. Been here a few times, the music is pleasant and not overwhelming, one night there was a live pianist too - which was a lovely surprise. The service is always great too. The food and wine is generally fantastic, but from what I tasted so far the pear tart with crème anglaise was absolutely heavenly, and the French fries that come with the mains have firmly become my absolute favourite fries!
