KOA has been on my list to visit for a while now and this week I decided to visit their establishment for the first time and I'm so glad I did. The space is lovely and the food is amazing. The customer service all around was good and we were seated immediately upon arrival. I decided to go for the brunch options and they were really good - you get a lot for your money and the presentation was excellent
i actually really like this place, the food is generally good but if i’m being honest the service is a littlenlousy. The staff pressure you to effectively leave without having even finished your meal, she even put half my meal in a takeaway box. My bill was handed to me and I hadn’t even finished my coffee. I would really appreciate it if you could just give customers time to finish their meals in peace without rushing them out to accommodate other customers - Thanks x
Lovely local cafe, aesthetically pleasing. Food was like other brunch places. Waiter/waitress were a hit and miss. Some were nice and some seemed a bit off. ‘Card machine’ wasn’t working and trying to make us use cash and tried inconveniencing us to withdraw from down the road? Then the machine miraculously started to work when we said we didn’t have our card. I don’t know if it’s regular thing be mindful. Drinks were bland especially my mocha, it tasted like something that came out of a sachet. The vibes were nice, I did have higher hopes for this place. Real shame. But might come back again to see if there’s any improvement.
It’s a shame to not give this place 5* as the food and atmosphere was pretty good.nnSadly, we left the place feeling very dissatisfied with the service. It felt like waitresses spent more time socialising at the back rather than attending to the customers needs. We had to wait a long time to receive our bill. It got to the point where I had to leave the table to make the request to pay. You’d think it would be a great opportunity to see if we wanted something extra or make the table available by asking us if we wanted pay. Of course you don’t want it to be done in a rude or pressured way. But hospitality is about care and it felt like this area was lacking on our visit.nnHoping these small points will help the place to thrive as we loved the fact that it was a family business and the quality of their food exceeded most places that charge at a similar price point or higher.
Beautiful family run cafe, very clean, nicely decorated. Food is amazing, big portions, beautiful presentation, great value. Service is very welcoming and friendly. I will surely be back soon with friends and family.
