Absolutely lovely the food was delicious the French toast was incredible the caramelised banana was to die for and the side of hash browns were even better. The pear juice was so fresh and even though it was very busy we managed to get a seat easily and it was quiet enough to have conversations. It was decorated really well and it felt very clean would definitely come back again everything was amazing.

Went here with a friend for breakfast! Luckily we arrived very early in the morning 9:30am so there were lots of tables! The atmosphere is beautiful with lots of warm lighting and photo frames on the wall. We tried the mushroom flatbread and the full English! The flatbread was soft but crispy and the mushrooms were in a layer of cream cheese which was delicious!! The coffee was also great. Next time I will try the French toast as that is what the cafe seems to be known for! By around 10:30am it was very busy though so be sure to go early! The staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely place 5/5 recommend!

Lovely spacious and comfortable room, high ceiling, light, and music not on too loud. Food came quick and delicious, good portion. Staff here friendly and attentive too. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved this cafe, the interior and vibe were nice, staff were friendly, and absolutely loved the menu. Very delicious brunch, smoked Salmon with avocado was amazing! Large portions. Would highly recommend Beam if you are in the area. Payment is done by a QR code, easy and convenient!

We arrived at the café without a reservation and scanned the QR code to join the queue — a brilliant idea, and we were let in straight away. The app mentioned that during busy times, you’re allowed to keep your table for 80 minutes.nnThe place was very loud — I could barely hear my friend sitting opposite me. That said, it was clearly a busy time, so no fault there.nnThe food arrived quickly and was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and generously portioned — we were both really satisfied.nnNow… once we’d finished eating, the staff were polite and asked if we wanted anything else. We said no. Five minutes later, they came back to ask again. Again, we politely declined.nnAt that point, we’d only been there 50 minutes — according to their own policy, we still had another 30 minutes. What’s more, the tables around us were empty and remained that way the entire time.nnYet they came over again to ask if we were finished, and before I even had the chance to say yes, they brought the bill — and returned with the card machine while my friend was in the loo, which meant I had to awkwardly pay for both of us.nnI’d completely understand if there was a long queue outside or if all the tables were full — but that wasn’t the case. Unfortunately, if I’m being subtly rushed out after just 50 minutes, even the excellent food isn’t enough to make me want to come back. And that’s a real shame, because we genuinely loved the meal.
