Visited Beam Cafe for my wife’s birthday brunch and had a fantastic experience. The highlight for me was the Beam Benedict, which featured a shawarma spiced lamb patty a delicious and unique twist on the classic eggs Benedict. Full of flavour and something quite different from the usual brunch options.nnWe also tried the Turkish eggs, which were equally impressive rich, well-balanced, and very satisfying. They have a dedicated coffee bar as well, and the coffee was excellent, as you’d expect from a place that clearly takes its drinks seriously.nnThe ambience is casual, relaxed, and perfect for brunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and a lovely touch was that they even gave a small treat to my son, which we really appreciated.nnOverall, a great spot for brunch with creative dishes and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I would say it is a nice cafe for brunch but the google review is overrated. Located on the south of Notting Hill, it was easy to find a table and staff was so helpful, quick in serving and nice.nnHowever, I feel their menu is of average meals, they have the big portions but not necessarily different or unique menu options. The service was quick, we shared Mediterranean breakfast and sigara boregi as the side. As a Turk, I should say I did not like the sigara boregi because it was adapted into London kitchen - fusion food, which in my opinion, it can’t be fusion food with any other kitchens due to its unique recipe. But still I wanted to try.nnIt is centrally located, staff is nice and food is good but not worth 4.8. In means of pricing, it is a bit expensive. The vibes are nice and it is filled with young population. But I think they should work on their menu and the way to present means from other countries - as in case of sigara boregi, it has nothing to do with the original recipe.
Really loved their breakfast, portion size in my opinion is slightly small compared to some of their neighbouring cafes. Lovely aesthetic. I got the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough. Taste wise it’s lovely. Also, crucially, they have adequate charging ports!!
This is one of the better breakfast spots in the area — very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff are attentive and fast, and the kitchen and coordination are impressively efficient. The food is good; nothing extraordinary, but solid. To be honest, I don’t think there are any truly exceptional breakfast places in London anyway, but this one is definitely good by London standards. If you’re nearby, it should be one of your options.
As a Turkish person I loved the brunch/breakfast here. All ingredients are high quality, the recipes reflect the original experience. Kind staff, nice atmosphere.nDefinitely recommend Turkish eggs and Mediterranean breakfast. You will leave full and satisfied.
