Farm Girl is nestled away in a small alley on Portobello Road that expands into an absolute treasure trove that contains this beautiful cafe and courtyard.nnWe came on the recommendation of some locals and were so delighted to be treated to such a lovely breakfast. As we had a part with gluten free girlies, we were pleasantly surprised to find that their pancakes come gluten free by default! And they just so happen to be the best pancakes we have ever eaten — soft and fluffy with a buttery crust! I’m dying to know the recipe.nnThe soft scrambled eggs were insane, alongside generously buttered sourdough toast. And of course, you have to accompany that with a latte which came with a cute star decoration on top. Australians simply know how to do breakfast, and Farm Girl is a shining example of that. I’ll definitely be coming back any time I’m in the area.
We had some really good food here at farmgirl! The place has a really nice ambiance and the servers are really nice. However the place is very popular and the cafe itself is not to big so you normally have to queue a bit. Therefore is suggest going early in the morning and on a weekday as on Saturday and Sunday you can end up queueing for a really long time :
We were in the area for a quick pit stop and looking for somewhere for brunch. We found this place online after seeing so many people rave about it and I can absolutely see why.nThere was quite a wait, but it was well worth it. We visited on a Sunday so it was understandably busy. The service was superb: quick, friendly, and really helpful.nnThe menu was fab with loads to choose from, and the food was spectacular, so tasty and full of flavour. The place itself was lovely with a great vibe, plus a really nice outdoor area. Would definitely recommend and happily return!
Had a lovely brunch with my friends here for my birthday, however:n- prepare to queue we queued 1 hourn- service is waaaaaaay below average: for the amount of time you wait in the line, you wouldn’t expect to wait 20min for each coffee ordered, because let’s be honest: it doesn’t take 20min to make a cappuccino! I ordered 2 and waited 20-30min each time!n- food was goodn- prices are London prices, nothing shocking!nnTo be honest I didn’t get the whole farm/healthy vibe..I think it’s a regular brunch place, but the food was good, so if you are not bothered by the above points, I would recommend a visit.nnDog friendly!
The food was exquisite, we ordered the mushroom on toast forgot the actual name the second sandwich was believe a vegetarian one and had coconut flakes on top it was so good. We had to wait in queue for some time but all in all the experience was great. I highly recommend if you want to have a great breakfast
