We recently dined at Beam at Muswell Hill and it was a delightful experience.nnThe food was excellent, with a diverse menu offering delicious options. What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They made the dining experience truly special and their warm hospitality added a memorable touch to the evening.nnIf you are looking for a great meal with a side of welcoming service, Beam is the place to go.
Ample gluten free options with the yummiest food always. The gluten free pancakes are to die for. Staff are always friendly and ready to help. As a new mum it’s refreshing to be able to go somewhere with your baby and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a decent baby changing room too.
The atmosphere is fantastic, striking the perfect balance between trendy and cozy. The menu offers diverse options to cater to every taste and dietary preference. The service is fast and the staff is lovely, making you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The food is simply delicious, prepared with precision and bursting with flavors. And the best part? They serve brunch all day!nnIn conclusion, BEAM Restaurant is a must-visit for an incredible dining experience. With its great atmosphere, diverse menu, fast service, lovely staff, and mouthwatering food, it's a true gem that won't disappoint. Five stars all the way!
Absolutely delicious food. We were seated by the window which was a plus one. Very welcoming atmosphere. We also had the chocolate banana bread and carrot cake as a dessert. Highly recommended. We will be back.
When this first opened, we were very excited to try a new local brunch place because, well, who doesn’t love brunch?nnThe aesthetics of the place was inviting, with enough space to accommodate a range of groups. For us though, that’s where the positive experience ended.nnFrom the moment we sat down, we experienced a whole range of problems:n1. When the waiter came to put the cutlery on the table it was just thrown down. The napkin, knife and fork ends up in my lap. With no apology.n2. It took a very long time for the waiter to come back and take our order - 20 minutes.n3. The coffee was served in a glass with no handle - so you had to wait for it to cool down before picking it up and let’s face it, tepid coffee hasn’t taken off for a perfectly good reason.n4. The food arrived very quickly and was just completely underwhelming. The plate was more toast than anything else. It was like I had ordered toast with a side of breakfast.nnThe sausage was more shrivelled than a raisin and the poached egg was hard boiled. Nothing about the food was enjoyable.nnGenerally, when one goes out to a restaurant it’s to get food that most of us wouldn’t be able to cook at home. There was nothing on the plate I couldn’t replicate myself. In fact, I could do a better job:my egg would be poached perfectly.nnNeedless to say, it’s not a brunch place I’ll be visiting again.
