Nice cafe with some seats outside for sunny days. We had the cheese toastie, which was fine, but the onions they served with it were genuinely the best part of it! The coffee was good - both espresso and iced latte were nice. Inside was quite big with lots of space and tables.
I come here often because it’s a lovely place to relax and work. The staff is always kind and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. However, considering their prices are already a bit higher than other cafes, I find disrespectful the fact they make you pay £0.30 more for choosing oat milk. I am vegetarian but stopped consuming dairy milk long time ago, along with other dairy products. What if someone is vegan? What if someone is intolerant to dairy? They are forced to pay more because “oat milk costs more so you pay more”. I’m sorry but no cafe is charging more for oat milk anymore apart from this one and another in Hackney Downs.
A wonderful venue with a continuing programme of innovative and inspiring music featuring artists from around the globe. Exploratory and ever challenging in the best possible way!nnGreat cafe during the day with a nice atmosphere and bar in the evening.nnFabulously well stocked bookshop and records and vinyl add to the magic of this place! Long may it prosper!
Lovely café in Dalston. Great coffee and simple good breakfast. We’ll come back

Located in Hackney district, here you'll find lots of things - from books, live music to nibbles and drinks - in a large room, surrounded by a lovely and friendly staff. Live events are often sold out, take your tickets in advance prices are very reasonable.
