Fantastic location, great beer, friendly staff, good food and a warm bunk house. Perfect place to explore the fells. We will be back! UPDATE. Feb 2018. It was that good that we booked to go back, but 2 months after accepting our accommodation booking, they called to cancel it. This is going to result in extra cost to us. My guess is they have just got a group booking and bumped us. Very polite on the phone but very unprofessional. I will not return. 5 stars drop to 1. So disappointed.

A unique building in a unique location with spectacular views. In winter theres sledging on the adjacent fells and open fires inside. Always pretty busy no matter the weather, cask ales, walkers and dogs. I think it trades a bit on its location though given its height and accessibility. I found the service a bit lacklustre with average food that was a bit pricey for what it was.

Very quaint old pub 1500ft up in the mountains. The food is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. Large car park out front.

Small but good little stop for a coffee. It was busy so maybe the staff were flustered for a Sunday afternoon and having snow. The good thing is it was dog friendly.

Friendly, cozy and traditional. Exactly what you want from the inn at the top of the struggle. It was a very foggy and windy day. So Kirkstone Pass Inn was a welcome site. Have a pint of stout which was very tasty and local.
