This hotel bears no relation to the description placed on line. On arrival at the hotel, we were met buy three cars rotting in the car park. A plant pot on its side with a very dead plant tumbling out and random traffic cones scattered about. It felt completely abandoned, there was certainly no signs of life. As we entered the hotel we were bombarded by three dogs, one of which was barking incessantly. Not quite the welcome we expected. There was also an enormous no smoking sign at the entrance and yet the hotel smelt strongly of cigarette smoke combined with air freshener - not very nice. We were pointed in the direction of our room.... The carpet was rucked and stained. The curtains were completely faded and torn. The devan bed was filthy. Very unpleasant. I advised the owner we couldn't stay and why. He seemed completely surprised!!!!!! He also charged me for NOT STAYING. I feel completely cheated by the whole experience. It doesn't deserve even one star but I can't post the review without putting a star option!!!!!!

Chalet was a great alternative to a hotel. Great for groups and families. Hotel is very interesting with a lovely family team looking after you.

Really nice hotel all staff are very polite and helpfull. Food is to a really good standard. I would highly recomend this hotel to friends and family and also considering having my wedding here
