A real gemof a place!! Appearance was deceptive,(on going) restoration. Room was immaculate, recently re furnished,food was fan they let us eat in bar as we had a dog. Bar itself served good ale and again everyone was so friendly. Wwe intendvisiting this hotel in October. Visitors will not be disappointed!!!!

Warm and friendly welcome. They'll try to make your stay as comfortable as possible and get you want you need. Rooms are warm spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Breakfast plentiful, they'll get you what you want. Bar meals from set menu or specials board

Lovely hotel just a short distance away from Gretna. Staff are friendly and chatty and the food is tasty. During my stay I found my room to be clean and comfortable. The only downside was it was next to the refurbishment however this did not disturb my night. It is nice to see the hotel building and rooms being refurbished despite any disruption (not that I noticed any) as It may make future guests stays even better. Most rooms feature a bare stone wall which in my opinion is a lovely decor feature and helps add to the airy and bright atmosphere of the rooms.
