First time visiting as I happened to be in the area and took a chance I'd get a table on a busy Saturday night. The lovely staff couldn't have been more welcoming, the food was delicious and the desserts are stunning. Thank you Kate, Erin and Marlee and the rest of the team for such a lovely evening. I will definitely return.
Not a place I'd choose to eat but the location was convenient. Sadly the service was ehm, not the best. Go and order inside, sauces are on the window, sort of barking orders. The food was small, the tiniest piece of chicken breasts topped off with burnt piece of bacon, it was bitter. I actually thought it was a child portion but didn't question it. Perhaps things are more expensive so the portions are smaller?? I was actually really hungry and this didn't satisfied me, lol. I expect it's normal standard for a place like this you know what you get like a wether spoons type. I guess cheap and cheerful.
Was okay, think our food order was forgotten about. Didn't get an apology when i asked where my food was. Waited roughly 45mins in an quite period. My family enjoyed their food though
Fantastic food!!! We had halloumi fajitas, a mixed grill, nachos and a sandwich… lots of choice on the menu to suit each of us. Service was kind, friendly and professional and although not the speediest, the waitress was great to say she was doing it all!! Great atmosphere in the pub too with some soft music and all very clean and tidy. Enjoyed our visit and would come again.
Seriously needs more staff the current staff are really good but run off their feet and mistakes are made ie wrong steak cooked incorrectly and frankly inedible, bacon cheese forgotten on Hunters chicken and no onion rings on burger etc.plus over an hour to wait
Relation going back to Canada for Xmas so we visited here on recommendations as never been before. Was served my a lovely young lady behind the bar who took our order for 5 adults and two children. arrived at 6.30 and after various members of staff coming to our table to apologise that they never had certain dishes we had ordered. We then waited for nearly two hours for what was a disaster the easiest thing to cook chips were all cold. most meals were left the management after telling us they had problems in the kitchen offered us a dessert but by this time we had enough.i would have only given one star but the young lady behind the bar deserved the other.
Menu was very limited, we weren’t informed of this when seated. Went for Sunday lunch which they weren’t serving. Food took ages to come despite the fact that the restaurant wasn’t busy. My meal was cold, they reheated it in the oven but didn’t remove the salad. Rank. Only half my partners tiny steak was edible, this was after we had ordered and paid for an 8oz only to be told it’s not available. Had to ask for the difference to be refunded. Poor service. Wouldn’t recommend.
This a pleasant looking pub , with a family friendly menu . We ordered our food at the bar but it took an hour to arrive , by which time we were all very hungry. My lasagna was burnt at the bottom but not hot so must have been sat there for a while . The dressed salad of red onion , lettuce and three quarters of a tomato had no dressing . We were a party of six and no one was impressed with their food , we did eat it all as we were so hungry.
Very friendly, chatty staff. Lovely pizza! Nice environment, I couldn't find a table so was just going to have a drink but the girl behind the bar obliging found me oke so I was able to munch there after all.Food: 4/5
Lovely place. Food was very tasty, big portions. Family friendly.Food: 5/5
