Buy one get one free sign in the window however the staff got very angry when we asked for the free pizza. We all felt threatened and had to walk away.

We visited Ken's on a Monday night after a few beers in a pub nearby. We ordered our food and had a chat with the employee who was serving us he was very polite and courteous. Our chicken kebabs were cooked fresh and the smell was amazing. I did notice that there was a steady stream of delivery drivers coming and going whilst we were in there too. We will definitely be going back next time we're in Pompey.

NOTHING IS FRESH !! the chicken looks old, tastes old and is definitely frozen prior. I took one bite and wanted to vomit. even my canned 7up tasted absolutely horrid. everything's dry and tastes bad which is unfortunate since there arent many halal shops around her. I'd only recommend if you want a week off work from being sick

We received a donner meat and chips with salad cream and the salad cream smelt off and was discoloured, to the point it made my Mrs feel unwell, she vomited due to the issue. I proceeded to phone and they were very rude and abrupt over the phone when I asked for a free replacement without the sause. When the driver came to the door, I asked them to take the bad chips and sause back to show the people in the restaurant so this won't happen to others and he proceeded to wave his hand up showing that he had no interest in what I was saying, I was completely ignored as he walked back into his car, it was very rude. I'll be going to Effe's from now on. I have filed a complaint on just eat and the food standards agency so hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.

We ordered CHICKEN TIKKA, LAMB KOFTA, & LAMB SHISH with naanbread, tomato, onion, olive, pickle. All of them were great & tasty, especially chicken tikka and lamb kofta.  The vegetable were fresh, olive was too salty, I prefer dishes were served with a wedge of lemon & ayran as a soft drink as it matches very well with kebab. But they didn't have lemon & ayran.  Toilet was very dirty and didn't have toilet paper. Staff were nice. Price was really good. I'll back again, recommend to go if you're a fan of KEBAB.

Great staff, but was left a bit disappointed by the burger meal that I had. Barely any flavour, as if the meat had been boiled first... but it definitely was not boiled except for the cheese and sauce. Will try one of their Kebabs next time and update this post.

So-so. My third time ordering from here first two were amazing but the last was disappointed. Ordered a Chicken Doner and the meat mix was absolutely full with chicken skin even had the feather check the picture.

Visited Kens Kebabs on Albert Road after about 15 years, today.  Ordered  5 meals which came to £30.  Firstly, when returning home they forgot my 1/2 pound chilli burger.  Secondly the lamb shish I ordered was burnt to a crisp.  I tried to eat it but I could not, it had a charcoal burnt flavour caked in chilli sauce.  I wouldn't give that kebab to my dog.  The fried chicken wings were also over cooked and flavourless.  I am really disappointed not only with the food but the service also.  I understand that it was 11pm on a Friday but I expect a better standard of food and service. I used to go to this place many years ago.  The standards have severely dropped over the years.  I will not be going again and would not recommend this place to friends and family.  The salad that accompanied the shish kebab was the only thing that was enjoyable.  The chips were cold as I had to return to pick up my burger that they forgot.  Awful.  Ken, I do not give bad reviews but this is totally unacceptable, please do train up your staff. The food would be acceptable if you were drunk.  I do not drink.
