Sakura

This was my first experience eating Japanese food and I wasn't disappointed. The waiters were really helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. The food was well presented and delicious. We selected some sushi and a tray selection to share which was perfect. Lots of fish which isn't my thing but still plenty for me to choose from. Great experience and excellent value for money.

Small Japanese restaurant. Very overpriced for the quantity given so you end up having to spend quite a lot of money to feel full (in my opinion). Usually busy. Good if you are seated in the cost booths however quite packed in if seated along the wall. Nicely decorated and feels authentic. Staff are friendly.

Delicious, authentic food at a reasonable price. Many different options including sushi, ramen and hot dishes. Waiting staff is very pleasant and gorgeous interior decor. Would never fail to recommend this restaurant but I do advise to book in advance as it does get very busy at times.

Love Sakura, the sushi is always fresh and tasty and won't completely break the bank! They've really upped their game since a couple of years ago!

Quick, affordable and really yummy. Best sushi experience you can get in Portsmouth area.
