Tried this curry house on Saturday and was very impressed. Loved the vegetarian Thali as got to try lots of smaller dishes. Also were very accommodating when I asked to swap one of the dishes. Food was delicious and service friendly and attentive. BIG portions and very reasonably priced for food and drink. High recommended.

Phenomenal curry. Went to the theatre and had a delicious meal afterwards. No corkage on wine so we took our own. Salim the owner was friendly kind and full of recommendations on the menu. I can honestly say this is one of the best curry spots I’ve ever been to and I will be back soon. Thank you guys!!

Disappointing meal-in with friends... - I female ordered a bottle of Cobra and was instead offered a Kingfisher smaller bottle, perhaps? but insisted on a Cobra. My male friends also ordered Cobras but weren't offered the Kingfisher alternative. When drinks arrived, I was given a half-pint glass where as the males were given a pint... my female friend ordered a bottle of cider, and when it came, there was a pint glass and half-pint glass with ice in, when the server realised the cider was for my female, he gave her the half-pint glass.... make of that what you will... - Meat samosa was cold in the middle, new ones received and were vegetable, so third time was the charm. - When I paid for the bill at the end, I asked for a receipt to take away... was presented with a piece of paper that simply had the total amount on it. Another staff member snatched the piece of paper I was given to get me the correct one. Very bizarre! Whole evening was overshadowed by these events - was a shame as the food was good!

Friendly staff apart from one individual who calls himself Ali. I understand the owner is Salim. Refused to serve me although I wanted a sit down meal.  Rude, arrogant, poor customer service provided. Other staff extremely friendly however, would recommend that new staff needed urgently to replace this ill mannered individual.  This is not good for their reputation  I am working in the area and travelled a long way for a sit down meal.  I do not expect to have someone's finger wagged in my face. He clearly is very ignorant and may well have learning difficulties. That is the only explanation for such disgusting behaviour. A short podgy waiter if you are looking for him.  I do feel very sorry for the rest of the staff.  He claims to be the owner. Very very poor service.

Amazing curry/restaurant... been going since I was 10yrs old and 52 now !!! Very clean curry and chicken is lovely, chips more like roast potatoes gorgeous... Salem keep up the good work it's very much appreciated.. Mandie and family xxx

Having had a stressful journey leading me to miss my ferry and have to wait two hours for the next one, they were really helpful despite it being late and organised a taxi to bring me a delivery! Really turned my day around, was delicious and very quick delivery

Terrible, whoever's recommended this place  needs to seriously think about what going to an Indian restaurant actually is! The popadoms were stale, and dips that came with them were awful. I ordered a lamb dish, the spicing was good but the lamb was small and incredibly chewy.  I reccomend finding a different place!!

Still the best Curry in town, been living away for years it still stands out from the others especially got originality, I mean it has been around for 42 odd years…  I get the chicken Pasanda or madras and a chicken chat to start off with, I guarantee you it steps out from the usual curry house.

Denied table for one during last day of eat out to help out scheme. When I rang told there was a table available for 2100.  Suddenly when I told them it was just me they said they could serve me until 2200. I tried to explain I was a nurse working in the hospital until late he hung up on me.  I ended up not enjoying the promotion, had to walk 1/2 a mile and pull full price for my dinner. Very disappointing.

Arrived at half 7 and drinks order was taken straight away. Not too busy but looked short staffed. Food order taken at 7:45 and food arrived after 9pm! I had to rush my meal as 2hr parking was up at half 9.
