The food was inedible. There was so much oil and grease in the b b q sauce it was 1 cm layer on the top, the spare ribs looked like they had been deep fat fried, the chicken fried rice was soggy , like porridge consistency and full of oil. Random bits of chicken and vegetables were on top The only thing that was edible was the small bag of prawn crackers. This was purchased Tuesday evening , around 9.50pm. Then 24 hrs later . Chronic diarrhoea and nausea. £17, I paid for this rubbish it's utterly disgusting.
Women at the desk is lovely but the food is terrible I've now got a bad stomach I threw half in the bin it literally had no flavour asked for it spicy wasn't one bit spicy that pictured meant to be a chicken chow mein was looking forward to it aswell as the food is very cheap compared to other Chineses.Food: 1/5
Easily the worst food we have ever had… nobody ate it. Every dish was foul!! Chicken balls were like donut batter and burnt , pancake roll just ooozed grease. Salt and pepper chips were still frozen, and crispy chilli beef…. Eew no idea what even that was… so disappointed. Delivered and binned witin 10 mins!!!!Food: 1/5
We have had several deliveries from the Golden Horse . Always quick very pleasant gentleman seems to always deliver . Great food , haven't had a bad meal yet and we've tried various dishes .Food: 5/5
The Staff is friendly. Enjoyed the Singapore rice. Plus there’s a 10% discount for students on orders above £6. Fair bargain
Ordered from JustEat and you’d think it was a different restaurant compared to these reviews. Really tasty, packed full of flavour and with a nice kick. Crispiest salt and pepper tofu & chips we’ve had. I ordered the Malaysian Hofun which didn’t have a description but it was Fantastic; a thin wide noodle in a chow mein style.Food: 5/5
mushroom chow mein was superb, burrito sized spring roll was brilliant and lady was rlly nice and also asked if i was vegan!! solid.Food: 5/5
Really kind lady but the food was really bad. Cheap fatty meat,super seeet sauce like syrup. The rice was the worst it was soggy and stodgy but more than anything just plain bland. Sad to say this because the owner was really friendly and kind but the food was poor.Service: 3/5
The food was awful, we ordered a house special chow mein and a beef curry with egg fried rice, it's clear who ever cooked this meal cannot cook ! it was the worst takeaway we'd ever ordered, I wish we had taken pictures but even then it wouldn't describe what we were given, no flavour, no spice in the curry, stodge for egg fried rice, noodles swimming around in water was the chow mein with a meat which was impossible to identify, I can only suggest you avoid if you want a good chinese meal because this isn't it.
Was not what we ordered. Asked for shredded duck and got slabs of duck and the Battered chilli prawns still Had the shell on. And when we called up to explain what had happened when our 2 year old had started to choked the employee was rude and didn’t care about the kid and said it’s meant to have the shell on make it taste better. Also ordered shredded chicken but came as chunks. Was not impressed and won’t be ordering from there again.
