Absolutely stunning quality and great value for money. I can't remember the last time I finished my vegetables, but these were to die for. When I booked, I was asked if tonight was a special occasion, so informed them it was our anniversary. The touch added to the desserts was wonderful. We're not from Chester, but would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went at early dining, plenty of people there, a happy place to eat. Good choice of menus with nice drinks. Definitely must go back for excellent staff. Must point out to Mula ? Who knew everything and very friendly. Great atmosphere. 10+ Vegetarian options: Quite a choice.
Cinema night here tonight and what an amazing experience. From being met at the door and attentive table service to leaving... . Exceptional! Food was excellent and very flavoursome.. Thanks chef. A good film to round it off. Totally recommend this experience.

I'm quite fussy and must say the food here was FAULTLESS! Staff were Top Dollar - welcoming, not pushy and there when needed. It was Saturday lunchtime and we chose from the Fixed Price Menu. The chicken was so moist and the salad dressing very French. Atmosphere, table spacing, service, menu, quantity and price were all 5 Star. I highly recommend this place.
We hadn't been here for years but definitely a good idea to come for lunch. We had the 2 course daily menu and everything was absolutely great. Would definitely recommend.
We were a party of 8. Those of us 5who had the French onion soup did not enjoy our starter. It was lukewarm and not very tasty. One of our party had the snails and said that he was a bit disappointed. Main course was acceptable but not anything special. We had a selection of main courses; cod, chicken breast, steak, braised shoulder of lamb this was definitely the best main and beef bourguignon. The accompanying vegetables were good. For dessert we had the créme brûlée and toffee cheesecake. Neither dessert was inspiring. On the whole we had a good evening in a nice setting with good service and attention with mediocre food.
Lovely restaurant and food, we had Escargots and French Onion Soup for starters. Followed by Duck Confit and Steak. Will be visiting again, hopefully soon.
A wonderful gem in a part of Chester that has excellent dining options to compete with. I had the frogs legs to start after being told the escargots was unfortunately all out I was a bit disappointed, but there were delicious as the meat was tender and lean. For main I had the whole plaice and cockels fried in lemon butter and it was superb. Possibly the best serving of plaice I've ever had. I had a half bottle of white wine with the meal, which complemented the fish perfectly. I'm already planning my return and eyeing up the french onion soup for next time.
Thankyou for another wonderful birthday. Great food, friendly staff, always recommend Chez Jules to friends. The little message on the dessert with a free drink made me feel special. Thanks Chez Jules We must try a film night sometime.Food: 5/5
