First experience of a carvery and these guys really did it justice beyond the food. The service was wonderful! It was a last minute decision and they were able to book us in a party of 8 ready in 20mins!! They were busy and I've always wanted to try this place. They have a nice soft play area. The food is pretty standard and I like the variety. It is really good value!
We normally eat here when meeting up with family as it is well situated and a very short distance from the M6 junction 1. Excellent service and staff every time we visit. The food has always been very good, that's why we chose this particular brewers fayre as it is halfway from both destinations north and south that we travel from. On this occasion, the gentlemen who were working the bar and food areas were fantastic in amusing our 10 year old, and the banter was really good, as was the Excellent service. We understand that things have gone up in price due to the recent and continuing recession we are all experiencing, but all five of our party were happy with everything. It wasn't a fast food establishment but a family orientated restaurant that never lacked in presentation or quality. See you soon.
I went here for breakfast and enjoyed it. Me, a vegan, and he, a meat eater He liked everything he had. As did I, the vegan sausages were excellent by the way. The staff were very helpful. My only comment is that the things that are vegan should be labelled as so. As it's not always easy to tell. Crumpets are usually always vegan, so maybe just stick a note on. Same with the hash browns and tomatoes and cereal. Sometimes things have butter on, or milk powder, and I need to be certain I'm eating vegan. Vegan black pudding would be a nice addition. But I'll be back regardless.
Really friendly and polite staff, couldn't do enough to help out. The Sunday roast was amazing although some of the veg was a little too crunchy for my tastes. Excellent value for an afternoon with the family.Food: 5/5
I have been going to this place for years and the staff are excellent also very friendly too. Tracy is exceptionally very nice and friendly so the rest of the team. The breakfast is great not so sure why are here bad reviews! For sure is way better then any Toby carvery the breakfast at brewery.
Unfortunately not a great place to eat. Food is cheap, mash is instant smash and dry, yet you pay enough for it. Not good quality food, for the price. Had a bad experience when trying to explain issues to the staff as at first they didn't seem bothered at all. Tables are sticky even when clean need varnishing or replacing, my napkin actually ripped when I tried to lift it off the table because it got stuck. Miss matched chairs are very odd. Struggled finding clean cutlery, as they hadn't put any out. The best things about here are the soft play for the children and the hot drinks are reasonably cheap.
Been for Sunday lunch and a meal in the week. Great helpful staff but best to book on a Sunday. Sunday Carvery choice of Turkey, Beef or Gammon and they cater for smaller appetite. Would recommend to others.
Tables are always not very clean - sticky. The food depends on the day. I had a double burger, one burger was juicy and nice, one was burnt beyond eating.Food: 3/5
Great food, great service despite how busy it was and enjoyed the free soft play for my little one. Great experience all in all, special mention to the shift manager Tyler, he was great from start to finish!Food: 5/5
They young man who was on reception was unhelpful, ill mannered and disrespectful to us on arrival. We are four elderly persons and expect to be shown consideration. This was last Sunday lunchtime. We were stuck in the children's area although there were empty tables elsewhere. We enquired about these tables being vacant and were told they were booked. They remained unoccupied the whole time we were there. How four elderly persons can be put in the children's area when there are vacant tables elsewhere. You should train your staff to be polite to all customers but especially the elderly. The table was sticky in the extreme....could hardly pick my plate up once it had been set down. It might be clean but gives the impression of being dirty.
