My complaint refers to the telephone service. I tried three times over a week long period to discuss an order I wished to make for curtains. On the first two occasions I gave up trying to get through after 20 minutes of hearing your automatic tune playing some hundred or more times, interspersed by a voice telling me you were doing all you could to answer my call. On the third occasion I got through after 21 minutes but the operator's voice was so faint as to be inaudible, although she continued to tell me she could hear me. She finally said she would ring me back. I waited for 10 minutes and then wrote an email with my request. She then rang back to tell me she has problems with the system. You clearly need to upgrade your system and employ more staff. That level of service is totally unacceptable

Did think John Lewis, Kingston store offered a professional and outstanding service, but from what I have experienced from last purchase of a item, in which was to be delivered on the exact date as stated on the receipt form....it’s just been appalling service and given false info from courier company. Think they have forgot the word ‘service’. I’ve worked in a busy restaurant sector for a long period and know what the right level of service to be given and to maintain customer loyalty. Anyone can say sorry, but it’s the action to show by and going extra mile.

I’m not one to write reviews but after the help I received at John Lewis, felt I must. Went into the store a couple of days ago hunting for a present for my very picky sister. Was helped by a really nice guy who clearly knew his stuff- think his name was Conrad…- who talked me through about 5 watches and then pointed me in the direction of jewellery so I could continue my search, where I was then helped by a lovely woman- who’s name I can’t remember sadly. Ended up with a watch that my sister loved, and am hugely grateful for the helped I received.

OFF BRAND I went to John Lewis because I expected professional treatment when I wanted new flooring. Although the staff I actually spoke to where polite enough, I had a myriad of problems contacting them and getting a salient response. They said their own staff would fit my floor which wasnt true, it was a sub contractor. Obviously internal cuts are taking a toll on customer service.

Beyond disgusted with the recent experience at the store. Was sold a dummy phone instead of an original handset. Being treated like a petty criminal throughout the whole complaints procedure. John Lewis are refusing to accept the fact that the goods sold to me were fake! People BE AWARE please open the box and check the contents of whatever it is you're purchasing BEFORE you leave the counter otherwise you might be in for a nasty surprise! The inconvenience this is causing my family is beyond real.
