Bought an offer. Arrived 9th april. Welcomed and given all relevent info. Located my value chalet ok. Noticed everyones curtains were drawn for privacy due to no other window coverings. I had ordered some food for £20 that i had been told was excellent value and feeds 6. That wasnt the case should have got my own. Chalet could have been a lot cleaner. Seemed as though it hadnt been aired all winter. Mould active in the toilet. Broken toilet seat. No toilet door at all. Kitch cuboards smell of damp and no plates cups or cutlery had seen hot water or detergent in long time. They were all wet. Was this the damp or the cleaner not dried them after not cleaning them? Cooker takes forever to warm up. Cooking equipment lacking. Bed hard but sheets clean. Heating insufficient. Table filthy. 3 out of 4 chairs dipped no support hurt your back. Ive seen better quality furniture in charity shops. Outside double doors are a million cigarette buts. Im a none smoker i dont wana live in that. Not all bad enjoyed the swimming which is available free in 2 hour sessions. No slides/flume though. Staff nice. Children entertainment enjoyed. Bingo ok. Room packed no where to sit bear in mind its only april. Im afraid the chefs chippy should be avoided completely. Chips cold uncooked and made us ill. There were 3 containers of cooked chips draining over the friers presumably just been cooked yet mine were prepared round the corner out of sight. Weird!

An amazing holiday park with a great atmosphere created by many fun games for all ages and extremely hard working employees. Only thing I would fault is that bedrooms could be slightly improved.

We booked in to a gold caravan which was amazing however it was placed in a corner plot and neighbours all around had loads of kids which ran around the van making lots of noise constantly. Parents did not seem to care and was just as noisy. We came on holiday to get way from noise so we was very disappointed we had to go out a lot to get away from this some staff were very rude we did not bother with the evening entertainment. Arcades ok but not enough penny machines to keep kids entertained. We just wished we were in a quieter plot and says something when our kids did not want to go out to play. Site was clean and tidy such a shame about the noise.

amazing place to stay, children and pet friendly. The atmosphere here is truly remarkable. I've stay at many John fowler sites but this is our favourite, we've been many times and going back in August

I wouldn't even give it a 1 star. But needed to so I could write a review. Chalet was very old. Smelled of smoke even though it's smoke free. Carpet as cig holes. Every cupboard when opened smells damp. Shower was HOT but killer to get in and out off. Asked I we could pay to upgrade but told they were full. However loads of caravans and chalets empty. Paid over £600. We are house hunting. Glad it wasn't a holiday.😬😬 Staff wasn't helpful. Entertainment was a like close to the bone at times.
