One of the regular places we visit and absolutely love it. So much for the girls to do theme park right next door. There is plenty of food places to visit and entertainment is great. You can't be bored on this site. The beach is also a stones throw across the road which is lovely to take the dog and children. Couldn't recommend enough. Ready to book for next year
Last week had a week holiday here and family enjoyed it… the entertainment was great and my favourite actor was Jordan Hill because he was very funny. Only disappointment was kids couldn’t have what they wanted for dessert at RJs because all ice creams sold.
Lovely clean caravan however staff up club house not very polite. Especially supervisor of the kitchen, youngish boy. However bar staff man with glasses very lovely. Shows at club house not very good and not much going on.

No complaints here BUT the arcade. What the.... Theres very few machines, its filthy we noted the same rubbish on the floor for 3 days. Staff were disinterested in keeping it clean but more focused on phones. RJS was ridiculously prices. £1.30 for a tiny coke that was actually a cheap nasty cola!!! ....will add photo. The staff werr in their words 'fed up' and 'frustrated' at people always complaining about the prices and lack of price list. Checking in was an absolute joke I mean, JOKE. You are allowed on before check in to use the facilities by this they mean walk around as there is NO facilities besides toilets worth visiting. Over all a bloody rip off and a joke. We got our moneys worth from the hire of the van but the rest is shocking
Have stayed in the exclusive beach bungalow at hru every year for 8 years, sometimes twice per year at a total cost of twenty thousand pounds. Was booked again for june this year and had a call from reception this week telling me they are cancelling our holiday with no explanation, i asked if they had double booked and was told its not double booked, the manager had just told her to cancel our holiday and she cant say why. Absolutely discusting behaviour to not even be able to give a valid reason and if it was me that cancelled i would have been charged. I was forced to either change accommodation or cancel so ive had no choice but to accept a new booking in a lodge. We always stay in the same bungalow because we have a non-verbal daughter with very severe autism who cannot tolerate change and has complex sensory needs and it causes anxiety, so everything has to stay in routine and she doesn't cope well in new environments or enclosed spaces so the bungalow has been perfect and shes been very happy there each year with its spacious rooms. Now ive got to take her to the lodge and hope she will go inside and settle otherwise we've got to go straight back home and will have drove 240 miles there and back and wasted £1700. When i tried to explained this to reception they just didn't reply and continued with talk about cancellation and had no care. Sounded as though they had no clue about autism and the stress we will endure from this change, then just gave us an ultimatum of cancel or change accommodation and we'll give you a £250 voucher to spend on site which is nice but it doesn't help our situation at all.
