I only came here for a pint on a crowdless Tuesday afternoon, but it was a nice experience. It's a great, simple pub that has a great mix of old-style pub, but with a cleaner, more modern feel to it.
I popped in here last week for a pint of Guinness. It’s an iconic Tipperary pub on Camden Street, very popular with locals and tourists alike. The Guinness was top notch, highly recommended.
Another classic Irish pub on Camden. Towards the end of the week, its a student hotspot, but it’s great during the day for a pint. Recently renovated, clean, and well decorated.
One of my favorite True Pub in Dublin! Staff are cool, special mention to the Boss. A Real must to do!!!!
I was discriminated by the doorman of the place, after waiting in the queue to enter, the doorman told me "the Brazilian party is in that place", this place is already full, and he did not let me in, after that it was very embarrassing to see how he let Irish people in by asking them their nationality first. Definitely one of the worst experiences in my life.
Well, if you think you have lost your phone here, don't go in and ask about it 2 weeks later, no matter what your reasons are. Or you will be asked all sorts of personnal questions by a grumpy manager i assume as he was oldish and doing some paper work on the counter and he will share with you how "unimpressed" he is. I am not that impressed with you either grumpy man. Not impressed with how no one answered the phone nor the email or voice message for the last 2 weeks when i tried to contact you about my lost phone. Not impressed with the fact you needed to know where am I living or what was i doing the last 2 weeks that i couldn't come and ask forvmy phone in personne. Not that impressed by the other google reviews pointing out racist experiences in this pub, which makes me wonder if i would have received a better treatment if I hadn't had a French accent and had been white. All bar staff I ever dealt with were super nice. The place may look traditional during the day, but after a certain time of the night, it feels more like a money grabbing factory where very young adults will get piled up and get trashed at the end of the night when nothing else is open. Miles away from what you expect from a traditional irish pub and from the legendary Irish hospitality.
In the top 5 nicest pints of my lifetime so far. First visit and sure to be the first of many. Cosy indoor space with mostly high stools and standing with an great outside area at the back. You won't get any sun mind you, but it's a decent space. The pints are A+
Great atmosphere. Best prices for a pint. Felt like family as soon we walked in. Peter is honestly a trustworthy man. Don’t have to worry about being charged a little extra because you a tourist. Like other pubs in the area. Thanks St Peter for the experience.
Sat outside in the smoking area at around 11pm was lovely atmosphere and great craic. Fair price for pints and decent enough seating for there to be standing and seated people. Would go back on another night out with friends cause that's what really makes a decent night out
Fantastic spot, great music and vibe. Had an unfortunate experience with a man who was aggressive towards me and the security swiftly kicked him out. Great to see them keeping women safe.
