This is a lovely venue the décor the chandeliers and everything is beautiful. It has a usable kitchen and has a bar area where you can bring your own drinks as it doesn't have a licence bar. Two things that let it down the bathrooms are not enough toilets for the size of the hall for the amount of people that the whole hall holds. Parking is a nightmare you will have to park on one of the streets which is a distance away from the hall.
The main hall was lovely and fitting for our event and that’s where it ends. The toilets were disgraceful no proper running water no paper towels and the hand drier didn’t work. A sign in the ladies toile requesting users not to put toilet roll in the toilet! The wooden toilet seat in the first toilet was broken down the middle not only is this unhygienic and disgusting it does not meet the health and safety requirement. The men’s toilets were in a similar condition with no running water. I shall be complaining to the venue and Lewisham health and safety. The carpet at the entrance was filthy and needed cleaning. The bar area was absolutely filthy the fridges and the work surfaces dirty and grim. The venue is expensive to hire and not value for money. Health and safety should not be compromised
Beautiful hall, either a very intriguing, stunning look! very accommodating on all levels! Outside the hall, the only issue is parking if you drive!
This venue was very disappointing. The entrance to the venue was filthy and definitely had not been cleaned for ages The toilets were dirty and there was no proper facilities to wash/dry your hands, in fact, after we complained a member of staff went out to purchase some hand wipes All in all not a very good experience. Dirty glasses on the table when you poured water in them there was dust floating in the glass!! I would not recommend that anyone hires this venue as they certainly do not adhere to general health and safety standards
I visited this during its renovations. It's being turned into a weddings and celebrations venue. Very glitzy with typical Indian/Asian decor. Needed the toilets updating significantly and stairs to gents. Unsure what disabled people do. Ramp down into venue. Car park nearby.
The hall is very beautiful, but the worst service apart from the bad management, I paid for a gold service but it was the worst service I have received, the photos say it all, I could not believe it they offered us the hall at 4 pm, and the Waiters did not have anything ready and decorating with the tablecloths as in the photo, the guests had to help fix and choose the least dirty tablecloths, the cutlery was full of grease, the floor smelled like vomit, I had to hire 2 cleaners for my part In order to clean the hall, I met with the manager and he gave me thousands of excuses for what happened, in the end we agreed to the arrangement, but it was not fully fulfilled either, view of hall 5, cleaning 0, service 0, management 0, honesty 0. very sad since the hall looks nice. Do not be convinced of what you see. hall.
What I thought would be an amazing experience turned to be not quite the experience. The management have promised two separate dates for a meeting to discuss my complaint yet the manager took an emergency flight and to date no communication. Safe very rude - no senior left to deal with my situation. I advised manager I will pursue to be partially refunded as per what there event co-ordinator promised and stated in my contract was not fulfilled. My first co-ordinated stopped working there a week before my wedding no communication given. Was given an excuse that all there phones where not working. I had to turn up to the venue to demand what is happening. Piles of plates and cutlery left on tables, my contract stated there staff would removed from 8.30pm onwards not fulfilled my guest had to help move them as well as being told by management what did I hire my catering team for!!! The ladies Toliet’s - all seats broken, used toliet roll piled up at the side of the Toliet’s unhygienic!! Tablecloths that where on tables where used to mop up spillages on the floor. Just not happy at all I spent over £4700 and the services was so unprofessional. I was shouted at and over talked to on the phone when I raised many issues. I mentioned about the men’s Toliet’s also no facilities for disabled people.
Very clear spacious beautiful building fantastic staff excellent catering staff wonderful food can't find any fault I will recommend to any one who needs a banquet suite
Beautiful place, but as usual the toilets are not looked after properly disgusting they someone to maintain and make sure they keep clean and tidy at all times
Beautiful venue. The chairs are a plush white and gold combo and combined with chandelier ceiling and tiled walls it gives a feeling of grandeur. The toilets are the only let down as they need a good cleaning with bleach. The females smelt strongly of urine before the event had even began and sadly intensified all night so cannot imagine the condition of the gents. Still a fab place to host an event despite the toilets. Kitchen and cloakroom also included
