Story

Nestled on the green in the centre of historic Nunhead, The Old Nun's Head is a touch of the countryside in the city, a local pub in a South East London village, an all inclusive members club, but first and foremost The Old Nun's Head is a Public House serving the community.

We have created an environment to make you want to stay a while, we provide a service that makes you smile and a food and drinks selection to whet your appetite. When you visit us our aim is to give you a reason to come back again. We like to keep in touch and want to let you know exactly what is going on, from menu changes and drinks specials to events in our famous 'Panelled Lounge'. Staff were nice and friendly, getting us a table and the service was speedy. Food was pretty good for a pub, roast was a healthy size and had good flavour.
Stood waiting for 10 minutes at the door with my partner for more than 10 minutes last night Fri 23rd, hoping to be seated. We were completely ignored despite loads of staff members and it not being all that busy! Ended up leaving.
Had a lovely roast with my dad and his partner on Father’s Day. Delicious and the dessert was pretty special too. Reasonable prices and lots going on
Local pub. The burgers we had were nice. Wish there were better variety of food.
