About

Electric Brixton

Story

Electric Brixton opened its doors in September 2011, it brought back the life that was previously known as The Fridge and before that, The Ace. The most noticeable difference is the million pound facelift it's been given, where possible back to its original interior features with some twists for the 21st century.

Electric Brixton boasts an amazing stage with unsurpassed sightlines making it the perfect venue for large scale club events, live music, television recording, private parties and special arts events. Across both floors the venue has a capacity of 1,700 for club events and 1,500 for live shows. It is the only mid-range music venue in Brixton which is home to an area with a long-established vibrant music scene, standing alongside many other live music pubs and clubs. Keeping Brixton at its heart Electric Brixton is equally at home hosting avant-garde arts events as it is hosting straight up clubs, a new centrally located independent venue perfect for South London.

Bloody love this venue. Had such a great time. Check-in and security was seamless. Music and acoustics were excellent. Great opportunities to get close to the stage. Mosh pit was a gourmet experience. Dwfo coming back for more shows.
Just been to see the amazing без обмежень at this great venue. Door staff were friendly, quick and efficient. The atmosphere inside was, well, atmospheric and because it is a relatively small venue, everyone has a decent view of the stage even short arses like me. Recommend you check out the eclectic programme - there is bound to be something you like. Easy to get to and plenty of places to eat and drink around the venue.
A nice small venue with big stage presence as it doesn't matter if you are at the front or back. Upper deck or down below you can always expect to have a decent view
Loved this venue! Atmosphere was great, bar prices reasonable, accessible for all and staff helpful. Easy to get to by Bus, Tube, Taxi , no parking , but its not really needed with Public Transport. Attended Isolation Nation, and the whole event was friendly, a flashback to clubbing in the 90's
Good venue, great music, excellent location! A bit too drafty for me as I felt really cold when party started but when more crowded it got better.
Went to see the PJ Morton Watch the Sun concert and had a great time. The venue is nice big enough to create a great atmosphere but intimate enough that you could stand almost anywhere and get a decent view. At 4ft 11 this was good for me.
The floors were very sticky. But the entertainment was amazing. Very much enjoyed reggaeton night with a few exceptions. Ladies - please read. Please watch your drinks, please look out for your friends and most importantly look out for yourself. The room was visibly split 80% men to 20% women. These men rolled in packs, and were often predatory and grabby. My friend and I had to ask several cis men to keep their hands to themselves, as they attempted touching without consent. Be safe.
Awesome venue. Grungy and classic at the same time. Bonus: in the concert I attendes, the staff was amazing: professional, courteous, chilled, helpful.
Had a terrific time here. It's big and sprawling, starts filling up around midnight. There was a Club UK event that needed a bigger space really, as it got soooo packed - but the busiest place was the outdoor patio smoking/chill area - couldn't move in there by 2am
Small and compact, staffing at the doors was a bit all over the place but they'd been suffering some setbacks with Ticketmaster replacing postal tickets with mobile tickets and not changing the information on the system so the poor door staff had to keep searching customers by name and manually ticketing them off as the tickets weren't scanning. Bar was OK, one choice of non alcoholic beer and fairly pricy but to be expected at a gig venue. Toilets weren't pleasant. Sound was good for the show - Sevdaliza is heavily electronic so loud and bassy.
