The service was brilliant, the food was delicious. I can recommend the Butcher, its a good sized portion of full English with either poached or scrambled eggs. Gluten free bread and alternative milk oat/almond/bonsoy/coconut substitution available. There was also outdoor seating available.
Visited Brickwood for the first time for breakfast with my brother who never been in London before. We both struggled with finishing the portion which was also super delicious very tasty coffee and kind staff. 10/10 recommend and will come back
Each time I travel from Germany and visit my friend in Streatham, I always ask if we could have brunch at Brickwood. The Butcher dish as seen on the picture is my all-time favourite! You get to choose between scrambled or poached eggs. I had scrambled, my friend got the poached eggs and we could not have been happier :-
Best place for a brunch in Streatham. I lived in Streatham for 3 years and it was my absolute go-to, always taking friends there. The menu is delicious and the hash browns are specially crunchy and yummy! The staff is also super helpful and friendly. I will go back to Streatham just for this place!
Great coffee, lovely service, food was nice. Good quality coffee. You can really taste the difference. All day breakfast served, good brunch options, including plant based.
Lovely food, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Price is on the higher side but portion sizes are generous. Love the native mushrooms but everything I have tried has tasted good and been nicely presented. Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but there seem to be plenty of vegetarian options
I wanted to like this place, because good places in the neighbourhood are always welcome. But sadly I can't - eye-watering prices, then their system adds service charge even to takeaway collections be warned!. We thought veggie burrito was exceptional but £14 after service added, and corn fritters were ... bad : a weird landscape of lukewarm fritters sitting on an island of mashed avocado surrounded by cold sour cream and sweet ketchup. In summary, hit and miss, with prices that don't justify rolling the dice. We probably won't go back. But hope the place continues to thrive, because it is a pleasant place to have coffee and a snack. Vegetarian options: Very vegetarian friendly
One of my favourite places for a coffee and food anywhere near Streatham. Love it. Highly recommended. Great place for a Sunday breakfast but get there at 1000 to avoid disappointment. Good WiFi as well.Food: 5/5
Tasty food, went in to work and eat. Was one of those days where there was traffic and rain and couldn't get to work. So stopped there and had two cappuccinos and Butchers breakfast. One thing and probably good if you don't want laptop people taking up space, no electrical outlets so couldn't charge my laptop. Otherwise I may of stayed and brought more. Like I said, good thing, could easily spend money I don't have lol!!!
Very pleasant visit with a great range of delicious food including vegetarian and vegan options. Attentive service welcoming atmosphere and very clean,Food: 5/5
