This is a littke gem of a takeaway, the owners are very approachable, and know how to look after there customers. I had the honey chilli chicken with rice and it was the best i have tried, my work colleague had the same and was equally Impressed it was so tasty. The portions are very generous and quality is amazing.  Parking: Plenty of parking outside

I just placed an order here and the guy called me SCREAMING down the phone saying they were too busy to cater to no noodles in the vegan munch box. He was literally screaming on the phone being so rude, when asked why he was shouting at me he replied “because I want to speak”. That’s disgusting behaviour, and I hope this ‘man’ grows up! We had better food elsewhere, hope you learn your lesson!

Recently my local Chinese has gone downhill, after always seeing jakkies recommended I switched to here, and after a few orders I’ve made the decision to come here permanently, as it’s absolutely worth the extra drive it takes. It’s always ready to collect within 5-10mins, big portions, perfect salt and pepper chips.

We ordered Meal Deal A, for Brian. After a quick hiccup with order which was rectified straight away.  The food was excellent.  Very tasty and Very hot . Would definitely recommend Jakkis Chinese Takeaway. Looking forward to my next order.  prawn crackers .

I always order takeout from here, munch boxes are a great value for your money and the quality of the food is great. Been ordering here for a while and have never had an issue, food is always hot.

Fancied a Chinese takeaway,  so called in but was very disappointed to find they only accept cash payments and I didn't have enough money on me to be able to purchase any food. Won't bother again will find somewhere else there is plenty of choice locally.

Perfect. Truly a perfect Chinese takeaway. Amazing prices, and amazing deals if you go for sharebox items.  You always get the correct order, and it's always either on time, or early. Not only that, but they often throw in free items when you've ordered a certain amount which is always a treat!  Always friendly staff and friendly delivery drivers too!  I would really recommend anything with Cantonese sauce, because it's beautiful from here. And oh my god, if you haven't had the salt and pepper chips ... You haven't lived. I would literally form a religion worshipping Jakki's salt and pepper chips if I could. They are to die for.  If you're going to order a Chinese from anywhere around the Heaton/Byker area, you're not going to get better than here.
