Turned up late on a cold and wet Tuesday night and we were soon the only customers and what a treat , the staff were nothing short of incredible , although it was late ( 9.00 PM ) we were treated like royalty , the home made pate ,was lush with thick sliced fresh toasted bread with a large fresh salad , but the crowning glory was i had a steak ,forgotten the name but it was with black olives ,onions tomatoes,and red wine , it was huge 2" thick min and cooked medium rare to perfection , i have had plenty of steaks in and around Newcastle but this has to be the best i have ever had . Although it was getting on and the staff finished we were neither rushed or made to feel guilty . My compliments to all , the quality of the food and the attention to us was brilliant . Be back soon as it was a real treat

Lovley food with friendly customer service. Didn't have to wait long for food to be served. Located in the heart of Heaton park provides a nice scenery especially with the outdoor seating.

Wow what a night! Excellent Service, wonderful conversation, and the best fillet steak I have ever tasted or should I say steaks!! Will go again and again.
