We came in for our first visit from Skipton last night.nnThe whole experience was absolutely outstanding. We couldn't believe a Chinese restaurant of this standard was in Earby. The starters are incredibly well presented and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend the salt and pepper baby corn. The mains and rice were also great. Very generous portions. The Chinese lager on draught was creamy and probably one of the top three I've ever had.nnTo top things off, the service couldn't have been better.nnWe look forward to coming back and strongly recommend you order from the banquet menu. Terrific value.
This was absolutely vile and ended up in the bin. The flavours were disgusting. Nothing like used to be. What a waste of money. Also dripping in grease. After all these years I can say for sure I won't ever be returning. I feel sick
Went for a valentines evening meal, food was lovely, staff friendly and a good atmosphere. Had the chicken in blackbean sauce with rice.
This is by far the worst meal out experience I’ve had in my life which has driven me to leave this review as soon as we left sitting in my car. They took other people’s orders before ours and totally forgot us, waitress was getting frustrated at us when we asked questions to do with the menu also didn’t make eye contact but just huffed and puffed, they brought us a number of wrong dishes that they later changed and my sons dish happened to be wrong that I realised halfway through him eating it. Steve their waiter and a very nice man acknowledged it was wrong and said it would be knocked off the bill, the man at the bar along with the female waitress who took our order proceeded to literally shout at me because we notified them about that dish at the end. To start with, she said it was right until she checked with the kitchen, but still she wouldn’t apologise. Never have I felt that disrespected and verbal aggression towards be by restaurant workers. Even 2 other tables next to us told my wife that the service had been terrible. And just to top it off, mine and my wife’s dishes had no flavour whatsoever! Avoid this place, it’s expensive and you’d get a better meal and service at your local takeaway. Photo is the dish they tried to tell us was ‘house hot & spicy chicken wings’, when Steve their nice waiter clearly told us that it was their ‘house Cantonese wings’! I know Chinese, and this dish was clearly Cantonese sauce!
Love this restaurant & travel 45 minutes just to eat here. The service is lovely, always very friendly! The food is delicious; especially the beef spring rolls. Can't wait to come back.
