Always friendly service. Joy and Mark such lovely hosts. The food is always top notch, delicious and always fresh and the service is excellent. We take our westie with us and are always made to feel very welcome. We love the place and so will you.

Called in for a quick lunch on Sunday. Very impressed with the service and quality of the food. Probably the best steak and ale pie I've had. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Definitely a place to put on the call again list when I am in the area.

Such a warm and welcoming pub/restaurant. Meal was amazing, clean plates all round. Shame we were driving the real ale was tempting.

Have eaten here several times. Never disappointed! Very good place to come for a drink or for a meal.

Friendly staff, amazing food and great atmosphere. What more do you want!! 

Really good selection of meals and drinks, at quite a reasonable price. Very cosy and warm, especially with the fireplace in the main room. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
