Great cafe! You may have seen a picture of a cold bacon sandwich on here. As an ex staff member of this cafe I can confirm it's a lie, we only ever used tea cakes for sandwiches and sliced bread for toast. They would not have been served this item in the first place. Please, pay no attention to people with too much time on their hands, the girls who work in this cafe are second to none when it come to caring about their work.
Food shocking cold and took over half hour to arrive bacon sandwich with no bacon shocking
The food is a little pricey for what you're paying for but overall the food tastes good. The coffee is okay. The main thing for me that I love about this place is its usually quiet when I finish work which makes it a nice place to unwind and have a brew.
Typical Sainsbury's cafe. Mostly clean and a good menu with veggie and vegan options, but would benefit from better staff training or retention as the quality of service varies and there are always new faces. Perhaps the amount we pay for the food justifies a pay rise to encourage people to stay?
Reasonable cafe but slightly untidy, the service is very slow and the staff are not cheerful apart from the lady who delivered our food. The food was well presented but smaller portions than I've had in other outlets. The cafe is Ok for a quick snack but it's not a place I can honestly say I'm over the moon with. There is plenty of room for improvement and more staff might be a start to speed up the service.
Atrocious slow service. no choice of sandwiches. staff had already got all the breakfast sandwiches .if morrisons can put a decent meal choice why cant sainsbury's ,no wonder more people are going there......
Ok but not as good asKeighley Sainsburys. Why no cooked breakfast or omelette you running this once lovely cafe into the ground. Pleasant staff please don't spoil this great little cafe. Keighley have hot cooked meals and breakfast
Lack of any hot food. Toasted tea cake or a panini and that's it no hot meals, no breakfast used to love going to Sainsbury's for their all day breakfast.
Went in Saturday morning 30:11; hardworking ladies, courtesy kind & helpful, nice range of food, big medium or small portions would be nice & a menu for side snacks with one's tea/coffee would be a pleasant touch, maybe free or a small charge ie offer one with tea/coffee biscuits, a slice of toast something along those lines but all said & done if one enters when these ladies are on their shift you will be treated with good manners & a friendly smile; clean tables floor, small baby chairs & newspapers for learned gents; helps too create a friendly pleasant atmosphere when one's waiting for there partner love one to finish the shopping or after one has done one's shopping; nice to pop in at 5ish 6ish after work for a coffee/tea quick snack help one too unwind pick up some provisions before home or next port of call
Never any hot sandwiches available even when you go first thing in the morning and only 1 member of staff serving.
