WOW! Me and my wife went out for the day and upon passing this country pub decided to stop off for food and what a wonderful surprise we got. Welcoming, warm and professional staff, a very good range of beverages and an unbelievable, homemade quality meal....really cannot wait to return and highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed, if you're around the Colne area, give this wonderful pub a go.
We had a great lunch at Black Lane Ends Tavern Thursday 5th of May 2022. The pub has a lovely interior with the cosy aga range keeping the place nice and warm. The food was fantastic and they have a Thursday deal on a free bottle of wine with 2 x mains and starters. Thoroughly recommend for a lunch or evening meal. We will be back again soon.
Beautiful views, friendly staff, great food & good value. Would recommend to anybody that wants good home cooked food with a great choice.
We stumbled across this pub yesterday afternoon for some dinner - what a lovely place! The waitress who served us Grace was amazing with our little boy and made such a fuss of him. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. Portion sizes were good, everything reasonably priced and the food was all tasty. They even had a "kids eat free" deal on from Mon-Fri 12-6pm and a private play area/park outside. We'll definitely be going again!
Absolutely lovely food. And fabulously welcoming, helpful and professional staff. Situated in beautiful surroundings.
Gorgeous food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Great play area for the kids too, and a family of chickens free roaming makes it fun for kids. If we lived local, this would definitely be a regular place to eat for us.
We went with our dog, baby and niece. There wasn't massive room for dogs, but the beer was splendid, the food delightful and if I remember correctly, there was a deal whereby my niece ate for free. The staff were very friendly. We'll definitely revisit.
Highly recommend this place, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is delicious. A really good choice for different tastes, my husband is vegetarian and there was lots to choose from which normally we find there is little choice for him. We will definitely be back.
Very disappointed. Firstly, the real ale was served too cold. Our main meals were tasteless Game pie/Braised beef. Even with the two for one offer, we felt it wasn't good value. Fantastic location, but the food wasn't up to the same standard. Will not be returning.
