Very good pizza with quick, friendly service. The pasta looked good on menu, will try them out next time. I really enjoyed the Delizia de Parma, was fresh and delicious!
Good menu options, personally thought it needed a bit more flavor. Service was spotty considering only two tables. Prices good, nice availability pre show.
The worst experience ever. My partner bought a traditional bruschetta and it was terrible. It was Burn without garlic, basil and oregano. The italian calzon it was soggy, extra burnt and had a lot of tomato sauce inside super runny. The dough it was not fully cooked. It was the worst experience ever. I complaint with the chef but they refuse to accept there mistakes. They told me all the Italian calzones have tomato sauce inside but that is a lie. I will never go to a restaurant like this. The restaurant is overrated, the food is worst than terrible and the presentation is awful. I don't recommend none to go to this restaurant. Don't spend your money on this place. They charged a lot for the low quality food. I had the worst experience ever and we felt scammed for the price and the food.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Superb food.. pizza coffee My only quibble would be.. The bruschetta was cold toasted baguette and no mozzarella just lots of tomatoes instead. However fabulous fun, lively crowd and great service, good value for money
I was searching for a Italian restaurant and I tried Fornaio. I order 2 portion of pasta but was to salty and i couldn't eat it. After 1 week I gived another try to this restaurant I wanted to try a pizza as I love Italian food. When pizza arrived was nothing in there I could eat. Never seen a pizza like that, verry bad cooked, sos on it and bad smell, actually you can't call this pizza!!!! I don't recomand this restaurant to other people! Not even to my enemies:
We booked last minute for 5.10pm and on the phone they explained we would could only have the table until 6.30 the guy we spoke to consulted the waitress which was more than reasonable and we were thrilled they obliged us. Atmosphere was lovely. Slow to take our order so we didn't get out meal until 5.40. food was lovely. Then as we were eating a waitress informed us they needed us to leave at 6. I said we were told we'd the table until half past, which she then denied. I feel her colleague then set her straight but we got many a glare until we left! The young waiter serving us was lovely and very friendly. I will go back at some stage, maybe the waitress was having a bad day, but if we are to bespoken to like that again, I won't be going a third time.
The most delicate and flavorful latte I've had in Ireland. The pastries were beyond beautiful and delicious. And the barista/baker was genuinely kind, a rare gem in a world of pretentiousness. I cannot recommend this small shop enough.
I only popped in on the off chance and was really surprised. The pizza was fabulous and service was first class.

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat that had availability and popped into Il Fornaio. I am so glad that everywhere we tried was busy as we ended up having the most delicious meal. Il Fornaio will be top of my list for the next time I visit Dublin. The staff were friendly and happy! They also gave us a delicious pizza bread to try, it was amazing and I would definitely order it again. We ordered Bruschetta, Lasagne, Margherita pizza and a couple of other dishes. They were great.
