Yesterday we went here with my friends. The pizza was one of the bests in Dublin for sure. Food quality was top notch. Service and ambience was great. Everyone was super polite. I definitely would like to come here again. Lovely place.
Hidden gem near Pearse street. At the beginning I thought it’s cafe only, but going further realised that it is also restaurant downstairs. All staff speaking Italian and English, but Italian language transport you to Italy and you forgetting that you are in Dublin. Very modern and cozy interior that makes you feel very comfortable. Dishes, specially carbonara was delicious, I think the best apart Italy. Opened kitchen is very attractive, you can see all different types of food. High standards and very good customer service, definitely recommend to visit and try.
The squid ink pasta with prawns is the real deal, best dish I have had in a long time. Lovely vibe, great place to eat.Food: 5/5
Very nice atmosphere, the only thing that the coffee gave me cold. After all correct, clean, warm atmosphere and nice attention
Amazing place, staff and food! The best Italian restaurant I have been in Dublin, my risotto was just perfect in taste and texture. 10
Best in class experience. A small and authentic Italian restaurant, with affordable dishes. Everything I tried was delicious! We had nhoque, ravioli, lasagna, linguine and carbonara. The deserts are also fantastic. Every time I come here, we have an exceptional service provided by Lauro, a really nice and efficient lad. I strongly recommend the visit.
I entered this charming little charming restaurant with two friends on a warm summer’s evening. We were empty stomached and longing for a warm meal to fill our hungry bellies. A stoney faced waiter dressed in smart attire approached us in the manner a bouncer would approach a young ruffian who has had one too many beers of a night. He directs the three of us downstairs and leaves us in the hands of an even more emotionless waiter with a limited demand of the English language. After much disgruntlement at the hands of us having no booking, he finally points us to a table for two, slamming a third chair from another table into the back of my calves. When this waiter passed me a menu, I felt as though I had been issued a parking fine. It was like paying a price for something I did not want to, but the icy coke atmosphere demanded me to regardless. The food was good. Solid, hearty Italian food, with a chunky price tag. Didn’t make up for the service. Do something about it
A great discovery! Food was amazing from a fabulous menu! Quantities extremely generous and very reasonably priced. I had chef special of monkfish which came with loads of prawns and mussels! Staff were so nice and friendly! Lovely cosy atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. A few friends and myself started to come here every now and again but the serving staff were so nice and the food so good, it’s now become our ‘go to’ Italian restaurant when we manage to actually get a booking because they’re usually booked out. One time, my pal ordered a pasta dish but didn’t realise the ingredient she didn’t want was actually all over the dish. She was under the impression that it was on the side. When the dish arrived, my friend pointed it out to the waiter. He immediately set to giving her the same dish without the ingredient and offered the earlier, uneaten dish to anyone at our table who wanted it. My other pal took it home with him and was delighted. It’s the most amazing service in the world and the food is great. I’ve booked to go here next week.
Why oh why I have taken this long to discover Cafe de Napoli? Tonight it’s was quite simply 5 stars from start to finish. I was immediately transported to Italy when my small group stepped in through the door. Thank goodness there’s no rip off prices here, our dishes were all well priced for tasty food personally recommend Ravioli stuffed with crab, smothered in muscles & juicy prawns, followed by Chocolate Fondue! Merlot wine with beautiful Choc notes. Exceptional service from friendly staff. Can’t wait to return. Thanks to all and happy Christmas
