I was going down the street and drawn to the restaurant from delicious smell. Tried margharita pizza and it was very good. They have halal chicken so it is also good for Muslims like me.Food: 5/5
A crowded Italian eatery in the popular Temple Bar district. Well worth the wait for a table for fresh pasta, pizzas and salads. Tables *very* close together so you will get to know your neighbors. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta available.
Amazing place to eat pasta. I really enjoyed it. Plenty of options in the menu and all of them are super tasty. I had lunch twice here, as it’s a cozy and delicious place
Definitely recommend! Service was friendly and quick and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the pollo alfredo with mushroom sauce and tagliatelle for €14.95. Best thing I've eaten in a while
Very pleased to find a quiet Italian restaurant in the middle of the busy Temple Bar area. Food was great and prices reasonable. Highly recommend!
Beautiful fresh food in a small, cosy intimate setting, staff very friendly and great service. We had garlic bread with cheese, lasagne and meatballs, all very tasty and authentic.
the food is lovely, but that is the only positive thing i can say about the place unfortunately. myself and two friends arrived and met a friend who had gotten a table for us in advance. we were there for at least 15 minutes before some one came to take our order, not even a drinks order taken before this point. they took our order and we did not see our drinks for 30 minutes. they brought out our starters 20 minutes later before our drinks. they then came over, after they had taken our starters plates away to tell us that they had no wine glasses for our wine as they had a large group. they offered to give us the wine in ‘half-pint’ glasses to which we said absolutely no problem. however, a further 20 minutes passed until they eventually came over with our drinks, in the beer glasses. another 10 minutes passed and we called over a waiter, who was very friendly in fairness to him, who told us our food would be right there. we saw him go speak to the chef and our food was with us within 10 minutes. the food was stunning but it really was not worth the wait for it. we almost missed another booking we had, that commenced an hour and 45 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant. on top of this, they charge €4.50 for a soda, which is simply a can of 7up and a glass with ice for €4.50. i would recommend if you are passing by and it seems to be empty, but if there is a large group i can assure you they are the only ones who will be looked after.
The place is cosy, the waiters are kind. We ordered La Gondola Special pennes with sauce and Pollo Alfredo chicken with mushrooms and fries. Both plates were just ok I'd say. There are some photos right there. If you're nearby you could go, if not, you're not missing anything.
The lasagna was pretty good, but the salmon fettuccine was woefully bland. I'm guessing they don't salt the noodles when they boil them and that makes a massive difference.
Food was delicious and the service was very nice. Just the owner we think it was the owner was a bit rude with my husband when he tried to go to the toilet. He thought he wasn't sitting at a table and said he couldn't use the toilet ‍ Should be more aware of his customers! Honestly, we loved the food, but won't come back!
