We found the food to be absolutely wonderful. We would definitely eat there again. The staff was very friendly and the dessert was amazing. I would highly recommend the crab cakes appetizer, the buttermilk Caesar salad and the Bailey's Cheesecake! They also had a children's menu and brought crayons for my daughter to use. Great place!
I ate here just a couple of hours ago. I used to eat here from time to time, a few times per year. I haven't been in about 3 years, but a menupages deal popped up they regularly do and I decided to go ahead. My wife and I went in, having reserved a 4:30pm table. We opted for an early table, because we had our newborn with us. From the get go, the service was cold. No smile and we were pointed to a table and chairs in the corner, rather than seated. We got the 2 course + wine each deal. I usually had steak on the stone, but this was not part of the deal. I asked if I paid the extra supplement €4 normally for steak, but €6 for steak on the stone could I order steak on the stone...but before I could even half ask the question, the waitress somewhat rudely stopped me in my tracks. My wife order garlic mushrooms to start. The portion was pretty small, with 4 small garlic mushrooms, but she didn't complain about the taste. I ordered the chicken wings. They were overcooked and dry and a couple of them were burnt black on the skin. I could swear that the house white wine was watered down too. after the starter, we could hear a bit of a shouting match in the kitchen, but the music soon muted it. My wife got a veggie pizza as her main and although it looked ok, she didn't finish it. I ordered the beef burger and chips. The burger overdone. I had to pick some of the burnt layers off. The chips were sadly the most enjoyable part of my meal. We did not order dessert, or coffees to finish. I normally spend at least €20 extra when I dine using a voucher, but I was very disappointed with the experience. I really feel that we did not get a good service from start to finish. Carlos, I will not be returning.
Great staff and amazing food. Had calamari as an entry and it was fantastic! After that we took fish and chips and they were one of the best we had in Dublin! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Good food, Waiter was chatty which was nice! very quiet inside and well priced as we had just made it before the dinner special ended
Got a deal off deal page for 10 euro, got 2 main courses and 2 classes of coke , excellent value, we both got beef dinner, mash was gorgeous, the veg cooked beautifully and the actual beef was gorgeous I have to say it was so soft, Service extremely quick, my daughter got a kids meal of chicken goujons and chips and the amount that came out on the plate it was 5 euro , real proper chunky goujons and about 6 of them , and she got a glass of blackcurrant so 3 of us fed and drink each 15 euro, don't know where else in Dublin you would get that would defo go back, even full price lunch menu for 2 course less than 12 euro , unbelievable prices
Good service but very poor food. Salmon was old and overcooked, pizza was bland. Vegetables were from a bag.
decor is a little dated, but the food is excellent steak on stone is recommended!
The food was OK, the waiting staff was slow even there were not many people in. Price wise is quite cheap.
Good location in the main street - food was ok
Great food. My wife and i enjoyed.
