We booked a table for my birthday, we were well attended to, the menu is small but caters for all tastes. very friendly and proactive waiters, the place was packed I believe by people working in the offices around. As it is summer, the lounge was very hot, perhaps it is necessary to add air conditioning to improve the atmosphere.
Nice staff; he was explaining different items on the menu patiently + Messina Spritz was so-so + Lucio Spritz wasn't good + Basilico was really delicious + Lasagna was good but scarce + Al Forno Special was okay; the outside meat was more delicious than the inside meat; you could still find fresh blood and kind of raw meat; The side potatoes were really good + The table was reserved for a birthday party and it was explained in detail like I provided a birthday song link when I reserved it but, when we entered, they exposed that there are more guest upcoming and ruined the surprise; Also, no special thing desert with a candle, birthday song, etc from the house + Nice interior design and lighting + No interesting desert on the menu
Amazing Italian food! I spent my time eating so first took a picture when we got to the desert and the tiramisu + the espresso martini But everything was great and service with a big smile - and no delays! Highly recommended!
Excellent food, great service and friendly staff throughout. Seriously recommend it, especially the ossobuco and the Tiramisu. Cocktails are pretty good as well.
First time my husband and I ate at the Lucio and won't be the last time. The food was a delight and most of all the staff was attentionate and helpful. Highly recommend!
Great food and service. It's my favourite Italian restaurant in Dublin. I have been there several times and never got disappointed.Food: 5/5
Best restaurant we ate during our two week trip to Ireland. Party of 8 with different dishes and everyone loved their food. Pasta was home made. The wine selection was very good including wines from Italy that paired great with the food. Service was excellent. Not sure when I will be back in Ireland but will absolutely dine here again. If you are in Ireland and a foodie this place is a must go.
Booked online - super easy to get seated. Ambiance here is just great! I think the open kitchen concept really works when the staff is engaged and on board! And the food! Great flatbreads and apps. We had the fish special and a pizza - both cooked perfectly and served promptly. A very reasonably priced and varied wine list just makes it that much better!
Three adults stopped for dinner. We don't live in Dublin so are not used to the prices in the city but with pasta mains at 25 to 30 euros this is not cheap. Food is very tasty but very little lobster in one dish of seafood pasta. Vegetarian options are limited and when one of our party asked for some pesto to be added to a margarita pizza this was refused. Not very flexible. Finally the maitre'd twice sneezed into his hands without then taking appropriate hygiene precautions. Our waitress was very attentive and could not be faulted. Service was generally prompt and there were plenty of staff. Overall an average experience for the prices charged with some very nice food being let down by a lack of value, hygiene and flexibility. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options and not very flexible in making the experience better for vegetarian customers. Could definitely do better
3.5 to be precise. This is feedback to the head chef: Why? Why so small portions? I am still hungry from last night. Honestly. Don't get me wrong head chef, you have done a brilliant job with the food and the wine list. But why so tiny portions? I mean I get the aesthetics and the vibe of the restaurant but at the end of the day we pay to have a descent meal at our table. Lovely, professional service. I would visit again.
