A family business, established 2013.

Story

A business run a bit differently. We set things out in a traditional way. We don't use modern shelving. You can come in, relax, slow down and browse. We make each and every visitor through our doors feel welcome; you are not just a customer, but our guest. A whole family affair, spearheaded by Ruth McCarthy-Bryant, Luke Close and Julie Bryant.

Not only sweets,toys and games throughout the decades, but anything to evoke memories of childhood and times gone by.

Remember Dangermouse, Rainbow, being a Prefect, Space Invaders, Tetris, Dolly Pegs, school milk..........?
We've got bags, books, badges, DVDs, cards, wrapping paper...... Loads of stuff!

There's something for everyone. From the baby of the family or for Nan and Granddad, and everyone in between, including yourself!

We're not just a shop, we are an experience, come in, browse, chat, share your past, make new memories.

Love this shop always makes me remember my child hood. My son loves coming in to have a chat and pick a bag of his favourite sweet.
My kids love their weekly 50p mix. The staff are endlessly patient. I can't recommend it more.
Lovely fab memories
Wonderful little shop full of sweets and treats, something for everyone, Inc sugar free, as well as museum items from childhood, hence the name. Lovely staff always welcoming and happy to chat, great with the children too, very patient!

Great little shop selling lots of retro items, including sweets. Good place to get gifts that are a bit different and for those who are difficult to buy for. Owners are very friendly, and give great customer service.
Great selection of sweets and trinkets that remind you of years gone by. Also they sell tablet so it is now my favourite shop
My 7 year old says “some other shops aren’t very organised but your shop is very organised in the sweets area”.
Great to see so many sweets from back in the day and it gives you such a nice feeling inside.
