Bought a samosa chart on 09/10/2022. After eating half the box, I found a long hair in the box. I threw up, felt so sick, and have been really put off!
Authentic Indian Gujarati vegetarian sweets and snacks available here. Busy place with very friendly staff. I have tried a lot of snacks, bhajji, Pakoda, methi Paratha, chat everything is top class. I would recommend Paneer spring roll and jalebi as not to be missed. You get Rakhi and Ganesha idols in season.
A little gem that has never disappointed. Been a regular customer now for over 12 years and the bhaajis and the khandvi are absolute screamers for attention. Getting a parking on the Sparkhill main road can be an ordeal in its own right but the public parking on Nansen Road is just a minute’s walk and costs only .70p for an hour. Next time you are in Birmingham don’t hesitate to take a detour to Suraj. Oh, the customer service is top notch

Great place for indian sweets. Suraj has in my opinion the best jalebi's, penda and barfis. Great presentation boxes. Been coming here for the last 20 years. Keep up the great work.
The taste of the sweets and savories is no where close to the Indian standards also the quality of packing needs to improve significantly. Had purchased some savories from the shop but totally disappointed with the taste and all of them went into the bin. The customer service is good though.
Great food and selection of snacks. Definitely recommend to try Jalebi Difficult to find parking around this shop.

Good in taste can’t compare to Indian sweets but their sweets taste’s close enough. Snacks are big spicy . Overall good customer service
Hectic shop. No social distancing, staff were asking customers to remove masks when speaking we felt so uncomfortable. My order had items missing, and it was too stressful and far to travel back. Food is nice but their service was disappointing.
