I love this shop! Tara and her family are so welcoming, friendly & helpful. Beautiful Christmas gifts purchased for my parents today and I'm sure Dad who's 92 will be sending me back soon for some 'proper' liquorice . Thank you so much.
If you are looking for a traditional candy place,this is a must-visit store. There are a range of vegan and gluten free options of candy which made me most happy. The first time I could find a vegan marshmallow here made me most happy. A very friendly staff. This place accepts card payment,but a minimum of £5 purchase needs to be made. A great candy store in the middle of Birmingham is great.
A very quaint and beautiful sweet shop, a must if you have a sweet tooth. The shop has a tremendous amount of charm and charisma as soon as you enter, with sweet things to delight anyone who has a sweet tooth. The Lady who owns the shop and works there is extremely polite and very friendly. Please go along and support your local businesses, they are desperate for your help, so they can survive through these very difficult times.
Great staff, great selection of sweets from retro to imports. It's definitely the one place i visit whilst im in town. As a wheel chair user, they do have a portable ramp accessibility wise. On this occasion, due to how busy it was quite rightly so its great, i sat outside, but the staff are very attentive and always accomidate when i have been. So cant complain. I love it!
Absolutely amazing place. Such a variety of sweet shop style confectionery and a friendly service. They helped me with a present idea and came away with a perfect gift. Would definitely recommend visiting them.
I love this shop, the customer service is honestly amazing and they couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Always a service with a smile and care taken in everything they do and the service they provide.
Fantastic shop with an amazing selection of sweeties! Visited today with the good lady who's been a customer for years. I can't fault the service from Tara's husband whom we met today, he took the time to chat to us even though the shop was busy. I would 100% recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth.Especially if you are a liquorice fan!!!

This shop, and Tara I presume from reading other reviews is a delight! Really knowledgeable and friendly service. If someone remembers what you bought, and what you like, after only one previous visit you know you’re in good hands. I look forward to my next visit.
Very big compared to other Mr Simms sweet shops. There is lots of choice and a wide variety of American sweets and drinks including my personal favourite Arizona iced tea. The staff are also very friendly and the shop is in a very nice location, it doesn't feel like you're in Birmingham at all.
