Best Chinese takeaway in Streatham by far. I ordered the tofu noodles with spring onion and ginger sauce. It tasted really delicious and I’m delighted to have eaten food that is full of luxury and love. Thanks for the dinner. Definitely recommend!
Excellent food equal if not better than the Chinese restaurants in the West end. Staff and manager are friendly and service is efficient. If you are in the mood for Chinese food and are in the area you cannot do better.
There size & the food was terrible!!!! I have never seen a special friend rice in this small container which I usually share with a minimum of 2 family members!!! It was just white and horrid so I had to add soy sauce to give flavour. Just about chicken and egg 4 prawns & 3 pork pieces! The sweet abs sour prawns was disgusting !!!! TOOO much vinegar my mouth is sore. But it was fresh hence why I put a tick. Really deserve a feedback!!! THE WORST
I used Uber Eats to make my order. I ordered Chef's special hors d'oevres and asked for a swap for one item because neither of us eats the bbq ribs, and I asked for another portion of seaweed instead. I didn't get it or get an explanation. I think you should do a vegetarian or alternative option in the future and at least put an explanation on the app to prevent this from happening. Another thing, I asked for Chinese vegetables and just got pok bok!! I was so surprised and disappointed. Where were was mushrooms, beansprouts, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, or carrots?? I spent over £80 on my meals, and my experience was not wholly enjoyable.
Hung's never fails to satisfy on all levels. The food is great, as is the service. I recommend the Sesame prawn toast, the Chilli Beef, the Peking Duck, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. But sharing others', it's all great. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Absolutely disgusting, rice was boiled not fried and tasteless and very little seafood inside avoid this place
We had a nice meal at Hung's, and always appreciate the range of vegan options available including mock meats such as vegan chicken, or vegan duck! We ordered the seaweed, vegan chicken in curry sauce, vegetable fried rice and the vegetarian mock duck with ginger and onion. The food was good! Vegetarian options: Range of vegetarian mock meats
Have been here a few times now with my Godparent and the food is tasty and made well. Service is good and what I like is the little hot plate they put on the table so your food stays warm. Portions are good. I had the Meat Spring rolls which were tasty and accompanied with a side dish of Sweet Chilli Sauce which went down well. Then I had the Chicken Sweet and Sour with Chicken Noodles which was tasty and went down well. Good service, polite and clean. Can't fault them. Godparent says he has been coming to this place for years and I know he wouldn't continue to visit if the food wasn't good so that is good. What is nice is after the meal, they give you "hot" wet wipes to clean your hands as well as some fortune cookies which is a nice gesture at the end of the meal. Nice little place to support locally if you live within the area.
We have just had a takeaway for 4. We have been eating at Hungs for years, but this was very disappointing. I suspect that the chef and suspect owners have changed. Most of the dishes were brand, gloomy, or downright inedible. Prices are the same as before I think two stars is generous we also phoned to give this feedback DO NOT RECOMMEND we will not be going back and another local to cross off the list. Shame.
Delicious food, very tasty, really enjoyed it. Will order again. Thank you.
