I highly recommend staying at Hubbards Luxury B & B. We have recently returned from a 2 night stay with our dog in the Beech room and we were made so welcome by Bob & Inez, they could not have been more accommodating and are such lovely people. It is the perfect location for exploring North Norfolk being only a stones throw away from many beaches and halls. There is also a lovely local pub a 5-10 minute walk away for evening meals. The 15 acres of woodland and meadows at the B&B are great for exploring, you really could be anywhere when you are exploring them. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and on arrival we had the tastiest brownie I have ever eaten waiting for us. Breakfast was 10/10 for taste, selection and portion size. We will defiantly be back!
Stayed at the lovely Sycamore lodge and first impressions, it was gorgeously spacious! The bathroom with its roll-top bath, the huge drop-shower and the his and hers double sinks, just lovely. The bedroom was just as lovely as the rest of the lodge, I love the fact they’ve used old style but with some modern twists. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The garden at the back could’ve done with a bit of TLC, as the grass was mostly strewn with thistles and weeds. Maybe throwing some grass seed down and feeding it now and again. But when you think this place will be full through the summer months. I wouldn’t say it spoils it at all. It’s a lovely sun trap and sitting on the recliners having a cool drink is great through the day and at night, it’s lovely to just sit and look at the stars. Breakfast was delivered in a hamper to our door with a full English to follow, and other breakfast goods nicely presented. There is a fridge with milk and water and they even left us some chocolate cake for when we had our evening drink. A very lovely quiet place, out of the way of any main roads. I’d high recommend Hubbards B&B, yes you’ll find cobwebs, moths are daddy long legs, don’t forget you’re set back in the countryside. But the place is just gorgeous.
Quiet location but within easy reach of the beautiful Norfolk coast. We stayed in the Sycamore which had a lounge area, large bedroom and huge bathroom with double sinks shower and stand alone bath. Products in the bathroom were good quality. There is also a fridge and microwave with your usual tea coffee tray. Breakfast is served in your room, it was good quality local produce and very tasty. We had a relaxing stay.
Home from a three night stay in the Sycamore Lodge. Good points were Bob & Inez who were pleasent and welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the shower good. It was roomy and nicely furnished. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The microwave was dusty inside, there was dust and cobwebs in places, the crockery on the table wasn't clean and was chipped. There was cake only on the first day not every day as stated on the website. No hot chocolate and no biscuits provided either. The garden was private but not very nice. Overgrown with dead plants in the garden and in pots plus a dirty patio. No grass as such just weeds and thistles which isn't great if you have a dog. No patio set or parasol for a south facing garden just a couple of chairs and a big old table. On the website the garden is twice as big, well kept with grass and pretty pots. The most annoying part is the photo's on the website and on older reviews show how lovely Hubbards B&b used to be. It isn't like that anymore, the outside areas have been neglected and some of the inside areas need a deep clean and upgrading. It isn't cheap at £160 and we left feeling quite disappointed at the misleading photo's and discription on their website. It seems the quality and attention to detail has deteriorated over the years which is a shame.
Firstly, the rooms at Hubbards are superb and the service outstanding. We stayed in Sycamore for two nights in May and our son in Oak both were equally great. Breakfasts were lovely, well cooked, generous and tasty. Our dogs loved the woods and grounds, they were really relaxed and happy. Also location is great for exploring Norfolk with easy access to many local beaches.
Absolutely beautiful, we had such a relaxing stay. We stayed in Sycamore Lodge and the room was stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was superb! Our host was lovely and extremely welcoming. We will defiantly be back xRooms: 5/5
Fabulous place to stay to explore the North Norfolk coast. Second visit and definitely not the last. Lovely accommodation, very relaxed and homely vibe, and perfect for our dog with the private garden and woodland walk. Amazing breakfast and hosts too. Would highly recommend.
Had a 2 night stay in Oak whilst visiting the Christmas Spectacular at Thursford. Lovely comfy stay and really well looked after by hosts Bob and Inez. Fabulous breakfast and the cake biscuits in our room were a nice touch. Will certainly be back next time we're visiting Norfolk.Rooms: 5/5
Spent one night in the Oak room. Beautiful and peaceful setting. The bed was enormous and the bathroom very luxurious. Inez was very friendly and welcoming. A perfect night's stay. was enormous
A revisit to the lovely Hubbards b&b with Hosts Bob and Inez… beautiful place , great food , easy access to the beaches and great walks would thoroughly recommend
