Mostly designer goods, clothes, with a selection of shoes too. The Household accessories and furnishings area is quite small. Large sports area upstairs, which is sports direct. Perfume area downstairs and a make up section, also a handbag area which is quite large. Plenty of parking outside but the weekends can get extremely busy.
Shocking service! For the designer items you sell I would expect a better experience when visiting. Would be great to be acknowledged when I have a question without it being an inconvenience. Going into buy to be told 4 item max on trying. Staff literally more engrossed in their conversation than customers! Do better!
Visited Sat, late afternoon, October. Store under-shopped, not busy. High-end brands and prices, very spacious. Nothing caught my eye but it was a mooch rather than a targeted retail assault. If you wanted an original, piece of clothing etc and your wallet/purse is bloated, I feel this would be a good location
Not much in here since it changed from House of Fraser. Upstairs is just sports wear and the clothing brands I did buy have been seriously reduced and stuffed on the ground floor. Still a good range of make up and perfume but even that has slimmed down a lot. Rarely go in here now.
Terrible service experience yesterday evening at the downstairs till. In addition, a young group of 4 or 5 employees were chatting using inappropriate language loudly in front of customers plus were challenging each other by slapping each others back side. Very disappointed seeing and having to listen to that during my even worse till experience. Really wasn't expecting 'this' entering designer shop!
Do not like the fact you cannot get your money back if something is wrong but have a credit note. The stuff they sell is expensive so they should have better customer service. I prefer John lewis.
Passed from one person to another! Yes, I got what I wanted in the end, but seriously! Also had to wait after purchasing, no bags! I was expected to walk out with 2 boot boxes in my hand!
They have a lot of designer goods in there snow expected to pay designer prices. But never unless it's a good experience going in there to see all the nice products they have for sale.
Shame I can’t give a lower score! Store has ZERO knowledge on consumer rights! If it’s faulty then, by law you are entitled to a refund. Was told today that a pair of shoes I returned due to a fault looked just like the ones in the stock room. I asked to see another pair for them to prove it and they REFUSED to show me. Unfortunately for them I then picked one out from display to prove they were liars! How silly did they make themselves look when they could have just agreed. Refund completed but another customer lost. This company WILL go into administration if it continues to offer such TERRIBLE service. Let’s use the lakes for nice shops that we can be proud to support and leave the money grabbers to go under!
A huge store that looks very modern and tidy. There are plenty of staff around to help and the store is pretty easy to navigate. Even though there were lots of customers it didn't feel overly busy. There's also a cafe Nero downstairs and a different cafe upstairs called Eden. A very nice place to spend money, providing you have lots of money, as it's quite pricey in here.
