For a cheap stay, your fine.. however for me it's a place I won't return too..nnOn booking we was told parking is free but it's not.. be aware..nnRoom - strange black base to bed with mattress topper as a mattressnShower screen leakingnNoisey at nightnThe restaurant was closed for a night due to staff party and there wasn't much to offer around the area.nGuests moving rubbish in front of your own door when lit out for cleaner'snWaited 45 mins for a pizza only for it to be given to the wrong table.nnBreakfast was ok, would of been nice to have more of a choice but it was ok
Location great, room spacious, large tv, hot shower and enough electric points - down points tho - the bed was far to hard for my liking, I could not get comfortable but that may just be me BUT the bathroom absolutely stank of stale urine it was awful! How housekeeping could have passed that as ok was beyond me. Also £12.50 for a full English breakfast that was stone cold was rather pricy.
CleannnBut quite possibly the worst bed iv ever slept on the pillow was non existent.nnIv never been so high up in a bed yet felt so low.nnTv also didn’t work properly.nnGood locationnFriendly staffnCleannCheap and cheerful it’s 2 star hotel it could be worse.
Came here to attend Panto at the Durngate. location is very convenient for town centre. Rooms pleasant although outlook at back a bit depressing. Nice big Telly, Really Comfy Beds, Close to Lift. Felt homely. Breakfast was good with a varied selection of cooked and continental. As always I preder Fried Eggs but only sctambled available. Mushrooms and Tomatoes very tasty. Even had Pancakes and Maple Syrup but these should be kept warmed. All in all, a very nice stay and good value
Good location close to the centre. Very convenient car park which is super reasonably priced, we only paid £8 for overnight parking. The hotel room was clean, tired looking, but large room and bathroom with a double sized shower. The walls and floors are paper thin though, you can hear everyone constantly. This was not helped by the couple in the room above screaming and fighting at 2.30am, we did contact reception as we were worried... they didn't go to check on the room until after the second time we called, which I felt could have been dealt with better.
