Nice and friendly staff, breakfast excellent. Lovely new bathroom but rooms need some tlc, a refurbishment wouldn't go a miss to match bathrooms. Also new mattresses required to get a better nights sleep especially if you suffer with a back problem. Otherwise, a good location for amenities and room prices very competitive. Would stay again but may upgrade to an executive room next time.

Really enjoyed my stay. Very relaxed and nice layout. All expected facilities for a decent hotel.

Perfectly located for surrounding businesses. Has a brilliant network of roads around it connecting the Hotel to the M1 and local cities. Hotel itself has a free car park which can hold possibly upto 60 cars, and although it is just off the main road, it is quiet during the nights so you can get a good nights sleep

I stayed at this hotel last week and had fantastic service. I accidentally left a pair of valuable headphones in the room. I have done this before in another hotel and unfortunately the hotel said that no headphones had been found. However a lovely gentleman called Russel immediately went looking for my headphones, found them and personally posted them back the next day!!! What fantastic service and honesty! Well done to the Holiday Inn! I am over the moon! Thank you Russell!!!

Clean and open rooms, staff very courteous. If you hit it right you can see beautiful pheasants on the grounds roaming around
