Stayed for 3 nights for the Silverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix. Rooms were nice and clean, beds very comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the service was impeccable. I really appreciated the free selection of beers, wines and other soft drinks every evening as well as free bags with water, fruits and potato chips every morning before we left for Silverstone.nnBreakfast and dinner at the hotel was also really good. Location is also decent, right next to the M1 and driving to Silverstone from the hotel was very easy and hassle-free. Will definitely be coming back and staying here for next years GP!
I almost never leave reviews of this kind but this experience in particular was quite shocking especially for a hotel like Holiday Inn. The lady at the reception last evening 20th of June, seemed to be the manager on duty, was extremely rude with literally no reason at all. She seemed to have no consideration at all towards a guest who has finally arrived at the hotel after a long tiring journey and who was staying there for the first time so was not familiar with the hotel and was just asking the usual questions. Unfortunately this lady’s attitude ruined my entire evening and that is a real shame because everyone else at the hotel seemed very friendly and ready to help. E.g. The lady working in the kitchen, specifically, was really hard working. I have booked this through my employer who is booking rooms with this hotel quite often but I am afraid the experience was so terrible that I will need to feed this back to them.
Nice place, plenty of parking even for a large panel can. Large restaurant and bar, breakfast with good selection. Staff friendly. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.
Good to stay on a business trip.nThe rooms are up to renovation but clean.nBreakfast is basic.
I got a ticket for parking at the hotel's parking. Noone in reception asked me if I have a car. How could I know, that I need to register my car? There are cameras in the parking and if you dont register then automatically you get a ticket. At the end my ticket was cancelled and I car rental company also returned me money charged administration fee. But it took me a lot of time and effort to collect all evidences ect. Besides this I dont like breakfast in this hotel.
