Very clean and well presented room. The entire hotel is very clean and tidy in fact. The room does feel slightly on the basic side but actually has everything I needed. Lots of plug sockets. Workspace/desk. A bath and decent shower with good pressure and removable shower head. Lots of parking at the hotel. Bed was OK but the pillows are quite thin, slept OK though. Food in the evening was better than expected, hunters chicken was very nice.
We stayed here as visiting our daughter who lives locally to the hotel.nWe found our room very basic.nThe bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat.nThe shower was lovely and good pressure but bath towels were a bit on the small side.nWe have no privacy in our room unless you shut heavy curtain. There should be a net curtain or blinds up at the window.nWe didn't sleep well because of the noise of people coming in and out and the main door near our room slamming shut.nnThe breakfast was absolutely lovely!n10 out 10 for that. Especially having vegetarian sausages on the menu!nnSuch a shame our stay wasn't more enjoyable as staff were very pleasant.
Arrived at the hotel with my son!nUnpacked everything & put it all in place!nWe went out for dinner!nCame back & relaxed as you do! Went to use the bathroom & the sink was leaking!!! We were due to leave the next morning so I didn’t bother making a fuss about the leaking sink!nnHad to place towels under the leaking sink! But we used the bath taps to brush our teeth & wash our face!nnAlso every time we walks in the hotel room the floor was so hollow you could hear every creek & squeak in the floor!nTold the reception staff the next morning, they were rude! Didnt apologies for the inconvenience & told me had I not told them they would not know!!!!!nnThat’s ridiculous!!! Surely you check your rooms before you let them out?nnNo manager ever called or emailed me to offer a refund or a welcome back at a discount price!!nnWill not be recommending!!nWill not be using again!!!
Friendly and helpful staff which is the highlight of my stay. Room was alright but too basic, bed and pillow was uncomfortable and amenities were very limited. Unfortunately for me, I was allocated a very noisy room too. Was charged 350£ per night for Formula1 weekend .
The room was oknVery creaky floornDoors banging all the timennThere was a wee in the toilet when I got to the room..nNever had that anywhere.nThe top of the toilet was rusty.nnThe floor was nice in the bathroom, but I didn't like the smell.nnThe location is great though.nnAs a coeliac, I was just asked how many slices if bread I wanted.. no one explained anything else re breakfast.nStaff were all very friendly.nnThe bed was oknBreakfast was ok. Not a great selection.nThis was their idea of 'toast'.nnThe sheet didn't reach the top of the bed.
